But then Meridia would have to send someone after you.

I really loved those corrupted shades. Its a shame you only fought them once, and never see them again.

I think they should be in the Soul Cairn along with the Bonemen

Yeah, agreed.

I would love to someone though, they're so bad ass looking.
I think that you should get the option to either receive the Corrupted Shade spell. Like, maybe place it in the main chamber where that guy is, like as if he had just learned how to do it and studied that tome to do so.

Yes, they certainly left an impression upon me.

There was a surprising lack of spectral entities in Skyrim. No Wraiths for instance. Ghosts are rare too. When you do see them, they're typical character models with a transparent effect. I suppose there was the Wispmother, which was interesting in its presentation. That one quest where you discover the copse under the mountain with the bandits' theft of the cursed sword, prompting her return.

As for the Draugr ... damn them, I wanted traditional, groaney, fumbling undead. I didn't think the Draugr visceral enough, more akin to Egyptian mummies than dessicated reanimated corpses. I like their backstory though, the circumstances you find them in. But they elicit no fear from me, not in the way Oblivion's Dread Zombies did with ther low, blood curdling moans and rotted bodies barely held together. Does anyone remember that house in Skingrad with the undead in the attic? "Nestor's" house or something?
