Warning: Skyrim may be Dangerous to your (Emotional) Health

Post » Wed Jun 06, 2012 8:41 pm

If you're playing Skyrim in the nortthern hemisphere and you notice that you're increasingly depressed, tending to overeat, feeling lethargic then you may be suffering symptoms of human hibernation syndrome. The more immersed you are in the game, the more your body is adapting to the atmospheric conditions of what best can be described as a perpetually cloudy January twilight day in Norway. Realize that gone are any of the energizing effects of sunlight or of the colors red or yellow; all replaced with mists and snow, and the colors blue and grey. Continuing this pattern of immersion may cause permanent physiological changes --- sallow complexion, non-reflexive pupils, bone spurs, carpal tunnel, uncontrolled drool.

Actually I would say relationships are more dangerous to ones health than games are. At least with games you can shut them off and walk away, unless you have no willpower to speak of, in this case you shouldn't even be considering a relationship with a person because marriage could quite possibly be far worse for yah.l

I like you. There is, however, one variable in Skyrim that is incredibly dangerous to my health. I speak, ofcourse, of thus:

The weather outside looks just like the one in Skyrim, so should I be outside getting wet and cold, rather than in a heated apartment playing the game?

We've had exactly 3 snowy days this winter. It's more like autumn, really - definitely the warmest winter in my life. THIS is making me depressed. I need more Skyrim!
