So I'm on my way to Rifen from up north, walking through the woods and steam pools. All of the sudden, an NPC screaming like a madman comes running towards me and starts hacking away at my face. Naturally, I Fus Ro Dah him a few hundred feet, and then run and do a running power attack for the kill.

I had to take a double glance at this guy, but his name was "Imperial" and he had..

yeah mate random encounters. I've had an argonian, khajiit, redguard, imperial and orc attack me so far.

He came from World of Warcraft.

Funny story; I had an encounter like this, except he was "Argonian" and was wearing the Fur armor variant with only the lower half covered, and was carrying lots and lots of Skooma.

Ditto but with sleeping tree sap as well.

I had a fellow Wood Elf go at me for no apparent reason. I was like: "My brethren..*hit by arrow*WHHHHHHHHYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!" Or, something like that.

Sounds like one of my characters Bugger must have escaped through the 'steam portal' and into your game

I had some jerky orc call me that so I peeved him off and fried his dumb butt with some fire spell action.

i was attacked by a guy almost like that cept the currais and boot make was switched around.....and he made zombie noises for some reason

i had a orc that tried to sell me skooma. i was like wtf.

I want to say something insulting (such is my nature) but I like it here and don't want to anger the Powers That Be, and as such I will simply advise you to take this to a more appropriate thread.

Oh and as for the current thread, yes, I am aware of such encounters though for me they are sporadic, and their armor tends to be matched that little bit better. As far as I remember anyway.

That is actually pretty funny. I've never had an encounter that random before. I've only encountered the npc's who insult you into fighting with them, never anything like you described, lol
