Until I took an arrow to the knee! No, wait im still level 39.

Seriously, I do have an arrow stuck on my knee and I can't get it off. I tried removing my armor but I cant get it off, I have had it for awhile so using an old save is not an option for me. Any tips?

Let another archer hit you with an arrow. Usually that's enough to reset the bug (it's worked for me so far).

If you're on the PC, open the console and type sixchange twice. You'll keep your character's look.

If you're on the console, become a guard.

i had an arrow in the elbow for a while. Taking another arrow from an npc worked.

lol no it wasnt a joke. Usually arrows get stuck in you for a short time after being hit by one but then they fade. When one becomes permanently stuck getting hit again should reset all of the arrows and they should fade away. That has worked for most people. If you have 4 arrows permanently stuck in you right now then that is pretty funny.

...take steam off offline mode (or connect to xbox live, depending on platform), and get the 1.2 update. It fixed stuck projectiles. if this isn't possible, stop being a cheapskate and buy a legit copy

All those guards - they pirated the game, nobody gets arrows in the knee since the patch. And I'm pretty sure the guys who already had one got better

Idk what people are talking about. I have 1.2 patch and everything is fine for me. Dragon's don't fly backwards and everything seems fine. I don't use resists so I don't see a problem with that either.

1.2 Broke resists, so just because he isn't using it doesn't mean he's a pirate, it means he doesn't want his game broken.

i spent about half an hour with an arrow sticking out of my eye. literally, it was a perfect shot to the left eye, straight in. i just went and found some archers and let them shoot me. i also took a perfect arrow to the groin, but it didn't glitch. i wanted it to for some funny pics.

Guys, I can't tell who is trying to be helpful and who is trying to make matters worse..

I have a Xbox 360, I have all the patches, I only had one issue a few days ago with an arrow to my head...that was corrected after the patch. Today I got a arrow to the leg (near the knee), someone told me to get hit with more arrows, I did...this caused me to get 3 new arrows stuck to me. I think they are all iron arrows and I am unsure if I have to get hit with a different kind of arrow or not.

I don't know where I start the guard quest at, do I just where guard armor and take a post some where?

I grabbed (stole) guard armor and patrolled white run with a torch (as some one messaged me) but the arrows are still stuck to me despite me having to go to jail for stealing and everything being taken away from me.

The guard thing was a joke. You'll often hear the guards say they used to be an adventurer till they took an arrow to the knee.

If being hit with more arrows isn't doing anything, then you're pretty much stuck with them.

If changing and resting and waiting don't work....try saving and dying? usually I just ignored it and ran around and eventually it went away.

Is there any ....OH! what about being a Wolf?! I haven't started the Companion quest would being a werewolf alter my state that it might glitch the arrows off? has anyone do this? that's the closest thing to six change on the PC right?

Hands down, the easiest way to fix this is to simply take every arrow in your inventory and put it in a container. The arrow will then vanish from your knee. After that, don't forget to retrieve your arrows from the container.

I don't have any arrows..should I buy some/ or find some and then do that? or would it matter?

For console, you can use the werewolf form to reset, if you did the quests. The skin alteration is what is needed, and turning into a werewolf and back to normal has done it for me.
