Water: How it works in the game?

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 3:59 am

Hi all,

I see different kinds of items (movable static and activators) which seem to count as "water" and also there is the "Water Type" object, so I was wondering:
- How would be possible to check if the player is nearby to a "water" object? I think it's possible to put together a Form List with all water objects in the game and check for that, but I was
wondering if was possible to avoid having to make a "movable static" and "activator" list...what do you think?
- Water Type will only cover the effect related to water shown on the object, right?
- Has anyone had any hint on how water works in the CK? Water is an object, a special effect on specific objects or what? :(

Thanks,
Jashkar

P.S.: Anyone of you knows what the system means by "units" when speaking about radius? :(

From what i have seen once you use the water activator it fills everything below it with water.

So i created my island, then placed ground around it, and over that ground i placed water. after that i was able to change the water type
