I'm honestly curious as to how you could possibly be doing this without powerlevelling. You'd have to be levelling your skills through constant use, which would mean you're not using a lot of time to explore, listen to NPC's or quest dialogue. You'd be fast travelling everywhere in order to get to your destination and start fighting or crafting immediately.
So either you're exaggerating, or you're playing the game at a frenetic pace that wasn't intended to be the 'normal' pace of the game. Again, reading this myself, I know it sounds kinda condescending/elitist, but I really don't mean it to be.

I don't take it as condescending, that is generally how I play since I weight gameplay higher than everything else. I use fast travel whenever possible, I speed up dialog most of the time when it gets boring to me and am always fighting or doing something. I do not have a lot of free time considering I haven't been in school for a long time now and have a full time career. I Silent Roll all the time and puzzles and things like that are a breeze for me. I never have an issue deciding what to do as my goal currently is completing all the miscellaneous quests and Companions/Thieves Guild/DB/"Mage Guild" quests in the game.
I am not a hardcoe gamer by the amount of hours I put in, but experience and history of RPGs. Most games in general do not present a challenge to me (I am not trying to be snobby or brag here that is just a truth).
I am not complaining that I can level up quickly, I rather like this. I am frustrated that loot does not keep pace with leveling and is a static system completely independent of leveling. Players who play the game at a more rapid pace, get lucky, or craft have little if anything to look forward to in the game as far as itemization goes.
