Way too many sealed houses?

Is it really that hard to have no sealed up houses, i mean i dont even care if there isnt much in them just the odd funny encounter/caps/equipment/enemy/sunset sass etc, hell even just a place to sleep.
It just isnt realistic that wooded boards would stop you from getting inside? Damn my mini nuke is no match for this aged mature wood :)

It's just meant to be scenery.

I saw wood boards nailed to GLASS, I mean, if you hammer a nail to glass, the glass would break.

I know my character can preform brain surgery and repair hi tech weaponry but cannot pry a few rotten boards off a door. Joke, its to do with memory or something I think.

That's game engine limitations.. Not really anything else.. This engine's been around a loooooong time. It takes a lot of time to build interiors and to have to have that many loading zones would just be ridiculous. It's just for scenery and to make the world feel complete. I'm anxious to see what engine they use for upcoming games.

Hopefully they are working with a new engine for the next installment of elder scrolls/fallout which might be a launch title for "xbox 180" :)
