in FO3 you had big, energy, and small guns. the problem is the Gatling lasers a big energy weapon.

should the guns be catagorised by firearms/energy/explosive weapons and big/small weapons. the hunting rifle would be a small firearm, the laser rifle a small energy weapon, Gatling laser a big energy and mini gun a big firearm. as to my knowledge the only explosive weapons would be big (missile launcher and fat man) but small explosives could be added such as a grenade launcher.

also regarding energy/firearms should the categories be congruent, ie a sniper energy and a regular sniper.

any opinions on a change to the weapon system.
