Are Bethesda ever going to do anything about this? It's driving me nuts. For example, if I want to switch from a bow back to my spell/one-handed weapon setup my character immediately puts away its bow and then just stands there for maybe 2 to 3 seconds before deciding to unsheath the sword. In the middle of a busy combat situation this is incredibly irritating.

I sure hope they do. I always feel like such an idiot when there's like 7 bandits trying to kill me and my character just casually decides to check out the scenery or something before drawing the other weapon.

It's yet another result of Bethesda's poor optimization and the resulting 'bad memory situation' on the PS3. (and it isn't just with weapons but rather everything which can be hotkey swappable)

Can it be fixed? Absolutely. Is Bethesda capable of fixing it? No.

I'd like them to fix the whole mess that is the favorites/hotkey system. Two hotkeys are abysmal. The pausing from the favorites menu is so annoying I can't be bothered to play as a mage..

I have pretty much abandoned weapon changes in-battle. And the hotkeys are altogether useless because more often than not here they just don't do anything, and when they DO respond it usually bugs out and I end up just un-equpping whatever spell/weapon I did have selected.

but I have little faith this is going to change. They seem interested now only in priming stuff for more money grabbing. All we can do is hope at this point.

Especially since they can't be bothered to even let us know when/if the latest patch will be available for us..
