Weapon Rack, some weapons bug out.

Post » Sun Jun 24, 2012 11:07 am

Like the tile says some weapons bug out on me when I make a weapon rack. When I'm going into testing mode and I put an Iron Sword on the rack it functions like it should. But when I put a War Axe or any sort of Greatsword on it, it places the sword in the wrong direction and through the roof. When I'm going to breezehome and I put on the exact same sword it doesn't do this.... Would be nice if anyone knew a solution!

What I do is just set the Z rotation for the activator and rack piece (not end pieces) to 89.9000 or some similar number. Having it at 90 will cause weapons to be displayed up-side-down.

Same applies to racks facing the other direction: at 269.9000 (instead of 270) they display the weapons correctly.

Racks that have a Z rotation of 0 or 180 usually do not need any adjustment.
