weapons you have gotten attatched to

Has anybody ever got attached to a generic weapon? (not artefact)

Mu current character has an orcish sword that he has been through a lot with and had it shouted out of his hand. after the battle I spent half an hour looking for it in a pool of water that was full of plants

I very much ike the sword of Dibella. It`s actually rubbish compared to my best weapons and especially because I am only skilled in two-handed weapons not single hand weapons. It barely does any damage at all although it does have some effect against undead. Most of all I like the way it shines like the Sun in my hands (in 1st person it looks great) and I like the meaning of the weapon. So I still keep it and stlll use it every now and then. Eventually i`ll stick it up on display in my house.

I've gotten attached to a single handed glass sword called Grimsever... mainly because I can't put it down due to it being a quest item that I don't have the quest for. Otherwise I'd be heavilly attatched to my deadly Daedric Sword.

Skyforge Steel Sword.

Just a normal blade, normal steel look, but ever as trustworthy.

I play on Expert but I still wouldn't even think of switching it for Daedric or let alone any other blade!

In some early dungeon I could see a sword in an alcove that I couldn't get to. I spent about 20 minutes shooting it with arrows and using Fus to try to knock it out. Then I found it in the water. Turned out to be a standard elven greatsword, I put it on display in my Whiterun house as a souvenir.

Long bow I picked up in Helgen Keep. It's part of his RP though, as it's his father's bow which was taken from him when he was wheeled off to his execution. Will carry me to the end of the game, though I have been gradually upgrading it with smithing.

Coolest bow in the game I think, tied with the imperial bow.

Yeah, I've had the Axe of Whiterun hanging over the door to Breezehome ever since I got the thing, since it's a battleaxe and I'm using one-handed weapons.

I like your ideals.

That's what I did with my Glass Bow, it was my characters uncle's bow that the bandits that murdered him took and sold to someone in Skyrim and my character was on a journey to find it.

I've got an ancient nordic frosty sword that I had to use after a draugr shouted my battleaxe out of my hand, off one of those caged walkway things - I grabbed the nearest weapons and hacked him to bits.

Silver greatswords. Because they are infinitely great against the undead and you can still add enchantments to them like normal weapons.

my glass battleaxe with 35 burning and 22 absorb health ; been through a lot with it. i just switched to an ebony greatsword though to try it out. supposed to swing faster than a battleaxe. so glass battleaxe sits on weapon rack for now.

that quest runs out of riften in case you ever feel like dropping it. talk to a woman with blue face paint and blonde hair and calls herself the protector of rifen. i dont remember her name off the top of my head but shes easy to spot walking around the city streets.

The first Daedric Mace I ever forged is my favorite weapon, does 116 damage. I don't use any enchantments on my weapons, only on my armour.

Ditto. And to top it off, steel weapons are some of my favorite weapon designs.

My ebony sword. Even though I no longer use it, I refuse to sell it or store it in my house. I have to take it everywhere with me.
