I was just wondering, is weather in this game completely random (including aurora,etc.), or does it correspond to different scripted days of the year and/or month?

I think it's random. It also may depend on location.

Some weather is random some isn't... For example when you go to bleak falls barrow for the first time it's always a snowstorm but other times when you're just wandering around it might start raining which is random.
