I got the Weathered 10mm Pistol from the Pre-Order DLC. I am sure before in another game I had modded it successfully (on the 360). I have bought the 10mm Pistol laster Sight and modded it with the Weathered 10mm pistol but I don't see no improvement on it.

I remember there was problems with modding the Weathered 10mm Pistol bought I thought it was solved since I modded it before (I think it was extra ammo or something I forget now). So I am not so sure now if it's just the Laser Sight not working or I am not using it properly. If I am not using it properly, how do I use it then? I see nothing on gun it's self and when I aim, I see no laser coming out of it. Did I just get fubared or what?

That last time I attempted to mod it was on my first playthrough, and when I did it became a giant red square with an white exclamation point in the middle. So I'm going to say: "No, it can't be modded" but I haven't tried recently. Who knows, one of the patches might have fixed it to where it can be modded or to where it can't be modded.

Yes it can be modded. You will see no change in it's appearance, as the modded form of the weapon just uses the normal textures without the extra features, but the mods function like they should. Mod away.

I have the classic pack on 360 and you don't see any changes, but it works all the same

The mods work, but no visual effect.
I have the weathered pistol, but I often find myself using the standard 10mm pistol; due to the weathered not being coded for improved holdout.

So what should I be looking for then to see if it's working properly?

You will have a silenced gun without a silencer... how cool is that?

A suppressor or extended mag should be more obvious than increase accuracy from the laser sight.
Quieter, and more bullets in the mag.

Wow really? I was expecting a red beam, something like in Terminator the first movie. I haven't seen that in years, brought back some memories.

I must really be missing out on New Vegas. What are the 3 mods? It's almost like playing Diablo II trying to find the upgrades and can't find them all.

This mod decreases spread by 0.4 points and adds an aesthetic laser sight effect. This brings the 10mm's spread to a total of 0.4, from 0.8.
