Astrid won't give me credit for killing that woman while she's addressing the crowd. What gives? I've waited every time to make sure she's on the balcony and talking to the crowd. I've tried pushing the gargoyle on her (three times, twice undetected), and stabbing her in the back (fast traveled away before detection). What gives? And what's the reward? Might not be worth the headsche anyway.

You have to go up the balcony that can be accessed through a door on the north west of the courtyard, where the ceremony takes place. Then shoot her with a bow from there to get the credit. You'll also find a unque bow and some arrows there as well.

I think I Backstabbed (slashed more like it) from the balcony right behind her and got credit.

I actually gotten the reward from pushing the Gargoyle off. How that didn't work?

I shot her with an arrow from the ground among the guests and got the bonus reward.

I wouldn't get too worked up over it regardless. The bonus is merely some extra gold.

The gargoyle worked for me. It must be bugged somehow for you.

Someone mentioned successfully reverse pickpocketing some frenzy poison into the husband inventory and he killed the spouse. With the CK you should check if the script for the reward is tied to the death of the NPC or some other condition has to be met.

If the reward is just some gold, I'll try once again tomorrow from that impromtu "sniper's nest", and if that doesn't work I'm not gonna worry about it. I know some of the bonus rewards are special enchanted items, and the completionist in me didn't wanna miss one that should be easy to acquire.

Careful with this one: you also have to give the groom a pretty good weapon, or his first hit won't kill her and she'll flee off the balcony, where his second or third strike will kill her, but you won't get the reward because she's in the wrong place. There's also the danger of him getting distracted if he doesn't kill her fast enough, and go after ofther guys instead.

Also make sure you get rid of the guy who also stands up there, again for danger of distraction.
