2 weeks to go until Dawnguard for PCPS3...

Post » Fri Jul 13, 2012 12:39 pm

...and it isn't even in the "Upcoming" list of Steam titles, not to talk about pre-purchasing it. Is it even confirmed it'll be out on July 26? :(

No, it's two weeks until the exclusivity period ends. I'd be very surprised if it's released this month.

Hell, PS3 doesn't even have 1.6 patch that is required for it.

DLC usually doesn't show up in the 'upcoming' list on Steam.

This argument holds no validity. Bethesda could give 1.6 at the same time as the DLC. It doesn't have to be well in advance.

I think two weeks would be very, very optimistic. Even with the exclusivity running out I expect it'll be at least another month on top of that before it comes out for PC. PS3 is anyone's guess.

This is what I think also. Personally it wouldn't surprise me if it came out in the middle of August. Or even late August.

Sure they could, but why? They'll have a hard time separating the patch's bugs from Dawnguard's bugs then.

i dont understand why it wouldnt come out as soon as the exclusive period is up. why not release it? then those who want it can buy it and those who want it without bugs can just wait and buy it when bethesda has had more time to work out these bugs. Seems simple to me am i missing something?

Because it might not be fit for release, as in really REALLY badly broken!

I'm guessing it'll be at the very least another 30 days. Beth will need time to fix the bugs the Xbox beta testers found.

2 weeks? You wish. I'd say at least another month and a half.

I'm on x-box and I've yet to download Dawnguard and the only reason is to protest that my pc and ps3 gaming brethren are being shafted!

I'm here for you! One community, one game, On......oh, look! Something shiny!

Would not be surprised if the deal with XBOX had a side agreement holding back the PS3 version for 6 months. This allows the PC in 30 days if available and punishes those not on the xbox. Just saying......

I have a feeling that the radio silence from Bethesda is because of the exclusive Xbox deal, so hopefully after the 26th we'll at least hear something about a release on other platforms. That would be nice.

If this is true then all I have to say is screw you Microsoft. They are very petty if that is the case.

It could be possible they aren't allowed to even develop the other versions until the exclusivity period is up  Apparently they atleast can't talk about the other versions before that. It was quite difficult to get them to even say it is coming to PC and PS3 in the future. Or maybe they just keep svcking at PR :hehe:

I don't think it's going to come out till the 26th, of august . It wouldn't suprise me at this point if Beth has a secret 60 day agreement with xbox. It just wouldn't suprise me at this point. And why hasn't 1.6 come out for ps3 yet.. If someone can answer that I would love to hear it.

I've just figured it was pre released on Xbox because of PC having mods to lengthen their game. Im not fully sure why they have PS3 users delayed aswell. I believe they should have released for Xbox/PS3 and just delayed PC. Sorry PC Users no hate, but you do have tons of mods to improve your game, a 10-20hr questline cant beat 100+ hrs from mods.

I have a question.

Will the next and future Download Content be exclusive to the Xbox 360 system again? Or is it only Dawn-Guard?
