Weird non-joinable faction?

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 4:51 am

Has anyone met these weird mage poeple tht say they hunt daedric creatures (and vampires i think.)? They have a base but i forgot where.

With the dlc release i started to think oof them (i no they hav no relation) but they should hav been joinable.

I hated the fact i met these interesting people who should hav some quest to par-take in but no.

They're called the Vigil of Stendarr. You can visit their headquarters in Skyrim I believe, although I haven't yet.

The Vigil of Stendarr? I went to their home base, murdered everyone and used their souls to enchant items which I then sold for profit. Got no problem with their politics, but more often than not I realize they're talking about killing me half the time being a werewolf and someone who regularly communes with Daedric gods.

The Vigilant of Stendarr, yes. Personally, I dislike them, too extreme for my tastes. But yes, I agree, they should have at least had a quest. They have a headquarters with a unique book in it, that's about it.

The Vigilants of Stendarr.

Yes, I would also like to see some content for them.
Or, possibly, Id like them to actually be hostile to me when Im a vampire, werewolf or wearing deadric armour or artifacts.

Having them attack and hunt me down for having tainted blood or being best friends with Sheogorath would be epic

I just passed it about 3 mins ago when my game crashed, It's near Dawnstar, to the South West along the mountains. Nice folk if you need a cured disease, other than that, complete [censored]s.

The Vigilants of Stendarr are just sort of a disappointment. Their HQ's just a log cabin, & the only on you can really interact with is Vigilant Tyranus in Markarth, & all you really find out there is that despite his forboding name, he's just a chump.
It's too bad they weren't joinable, or didn't at least have a few quests associated with them.

I'll say one thing for them though, they are a great source of Alteration robes, & Amulets of Stendarr.

I never liked them myself, but like everyone said they are nice people, and a good source of robes and amulets.

My vampire murders them everytime I see some walking down the road. Selling their robes catches a good price.

I killed them all at The hall and the beacon. While wearing full Daedric set and using Mace of Molag Bal and Sanguine Rose.

Why not both. Do all those things first, then turn the survivors into sweetrolls.
And eat them.
Darn, this is evil.

they are pretty pathetic order. they only can fight weak enemies. I would like to see them handle strong daedra vampires and werewolfs. They would probably run in fear.

Yeah they are the Vigilant of Stendarr and I really wish there was quests to do with them or joining them. Though I will await Dawnguard for such a faction.
