A weird pattern has overlaid itself on my screen, and I don't know what to do about it. I tried resetting my resolution, unchecking my mods etc... Any ideas?

I got on to Skyrim for the first time since February and much to my horror there were little square "specks" flickering around. They look a little like what you show but smaller and much more opaque. I noticed, while I was trying to work out what it was, that the graphics were allowing me to see through the foreground. I went and complained about my disappointment on FB when I suddenly got a clue what was going on. Textures, I was seeing through the textures. I checked the settings and turned off the second texture pack and the problem was fixed. It's possible you may have a variation of the same thing.

its due to amd driver i think , im nvida myself but ive read a couple of posts about this .
