I can't answer your questions, but I would like to point out that NV was not developed by Bethesda, so don't take it out on them in the future by not buying their games for a mistake that Obsidian made.

I didn't know, I'm sorry for that. But I just really want to find out why my game won't stop freezing. It's happening to my friends too, so it's definitely not my Ps3.

Actually, even though Betheseda didn't produce the game it was still made on their engine with known memory problems, which are the source of the freezes. Notice once your save is over 7000 freezing gets to the point where its unplayable. Obsidian did what they could to slow it down (the problems), including dividing The Strip into 3 sections to prevent too many objects from being rendered at the same time, which could cause freezing just by being there.

Exactly, why should you blame it on poor little Bethesda, after all it's not like they had ANYTHIG to do with putting out this POS sorry excuse for a game, like QA or giving the developer more time to try and at least make it stable enogh to run on a console. And it's not like they put their company name and logo on the box or made two separate patches that do nothing to addreess the main issue. And it's so unfair to be mad Bethesda for trying to milk you out of your hard earned money with a carbon copy of their lastest game wich by the way it has the very same issues as FO3 and TESIV. After all Obsidian had more than 24 LONG MONTHS to do their job.

We should be complaining at the Obsidian forums... :brokencomputer:

Oh wait a minute, they DON'T HAVE FORUMS. Sneaky bastards still trying to make helpless little Bethesda look bad by redirecting you to this forum. :toughninja:

Yep, you should be sorry for that too, shame on you for not blaming the retailer who sold you a copy of this bug fest. And don't you dare to take back your $59.95 (plus Tax) coaster to the store. Because you may only get like a quarter of what you paid for it .

How's that ? :hubbahubba:

Do you feel better now ? :celebration:

True , when you click on the F:NV community on the Obsidian web site . It automaticlly redirect you here , on the Bethesda forum . And the only subforums you can click on are the Hardware and Software issues ! !

So... I registered here just so I could complain about this game? WTF is wrong with me? Oh, I remember now, I bought an unplayable game and I'm pissed off. I mean didn't anybody experience any freezing or crashing in testing??? I would think so. Here's my problem guys, I bought this game and I played it for a few weeks excepting the fact that it wasn'y perfect but a patch would fix the issues in the future so I then bought Black Ops. Then there were some issues with Black Ops and I (along with everybody else with a PS3) was very unhappy again! BUT they came out with a patch pretty quickly and it is now playable and I enjoy it. Then I remebered I still needed to play Fallout New Vegas and what did I see when I popped in the game? Thank God... it was an update! WTF WTF WTF WTF! I'm so sick of this [censored]! I love these games but it freezes constantly and nothing helps. As far as I can tell the update didn't do [censored]. One guy says cut down on your gamesaves, another says turn your system off every 5 hours, I say if Skyrim is gonna be like this then I'm very upset that I'm gonna miss out on it because I can't except games like this anymore. As far as I'm concerned, these games are unfinished and this is unacceptable. We need this fixed with a patch ASAP or I for one will seriously think about if it is worth the trip from my couch to the console 10 times a day just to reset my system due to it being frozen. I think I' done for now... I can't believe they went from game of the year Elder Scrolls 4 to this BS, it wasn't perfect either, but it was sure as hell better than this...ok whatever...back to Black Ops.

they knew about the problem all the time, and they were not able to reach a solution. so what do you do? all the hard work, all the money and contracts, its too late to hold on now, they had to release it ;)

its pretty dirty what they have done, but they were forced. thats what i guess...

fallout 3 (without addons) rarely freezes, maybe 1-2 times in 50 hours. so you see, there is a chance, there is a way to play this engine on the console.

so either you will patch this, or develop and distribute the game again and sell it for 30 caps. do anything that brings justice to your players, and you can rescue your name.
