WerewolfVampre Lord perk tree question(s).

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 11:08 am

Like many people on this forum, I myself am very excited bout the perk trees for werewolves and Vampire Lords. However, after watching all the E3 videos and pausing (as I'm sure many of you did) on the screens that showed the perk trees I was very pleased. However, there is one area that seems to be lacking and is of great concern to me. Perhaps I missed it, and if I did please someone, point it out to me, but is there anything that indicates that when we turn into beast form that we'll be able to do so longer?

I thought this would be one of the perks for sure, and again, maybe I missed it. I want to be able to have a significant amount of time as a werewolf without having to worry about feeding on an NPC. I'd like to be able to roam Skyrim as a werewolf, and it would be great to be able to sneak as well although I'm sure that didn't make the cut.

Also, as a Vampire Lord, was it ever stated how long we become one and how this works?

I guess it doesn't bother anyone else that we can only be a werewolf for two minutes.

Vampires do not have a time limit,

Werewolves can extend their time by feeding

Hircines ring allows you to transform again pretty quickly.

also, the entire left half of the werewolf perk tree hasn't been shown yet. One of them possibly allows you to stay transformed longer.

I know werewolves can extend their time by feeding. But what I'm saying is I'd like to be able to start out with 10, 15 or even as much as 30 minutes as a werewolf without having to feed. And the left side of the perk tree is visible although the descriptions are not there. But its pretty obvious it has something to do with summoning allies to fight with you, not extending the time.

Hopefully the option of forced but longer transformations are possible via infection from wild lycanthropes in the DLC.

That would be cool but I doubt it happens.

I'm guessing the perk tree is branched after the http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Totems_of_Hircine
Totem of The Hunt, Totem of Brotherhood, Totem of Fear:

I know there's a perk that makes fear howl effect higher level enemies I saw it on one of the screenshots, I also no one of the perks lets you summon werewolves to your aid, this would fall under brotherhood. And another perk I saw named let you gain more health from feeding this would obviously fall under the hunt..

Hopefully the option of forced but longer transformations are possible via infection from wild lycanthropes in the DLC.
That would probably complicate the companions questline to much. You want forced transformations wear the curse ring of hicrine.

The left side of the werewolf perk tree lists "Totem of Ice Brothers" and "Totem of the Moon." I'm guessing that has something to do with summoning creatures or other werewolves to fight with you, but I guess I could be wrong. Maybe the Totem of the Moon might have something to do with extended time. I'd like for it to have something to do with there being a full moon out.

It would be cool if werewolves gained some kind of extra, over-powered benefit when the moon was full.
