If they get it via Steam?

Just trying to verify this because with how early I have to get up Tuesday, that extra 3 hours of play tomorrow night are worth me canceling my GameStop preorder and switching to Steam.

It's hard to predict exactly.

According to the Steam store page, it says it will unlock at 3pm EST (12 noon PST) on October 4.

However, according to Pete Hines, it will unlock at midnight EST Oct 4 (which would be 9pm PST on Oct 3)

If you're basing your purchase decision on the unlock time, I suppose I would recommend sticking with your plan to buy the retail disc.

I think what I'll do is see if I can play the PC version at 9pm tomorrow, and hopefully also be able to figure out how well it runs on my system... and if it either isn't showing itself when expected, or I get it and it runs poorly, I'll go pick up a console copy and just unfortunately have to live with having spent the money on the PC version.

If I get it at 9pm, and it runs well, I'll cancel my preorder with them.

Btw I like your icon a lot, not only because I am a big Game of Thrones fan, both book and TV series, but also because I love wordplay and puns, and have thought of that same one before Not in connection with Game of Thrones though. Well played.
