What about this enchantment set up?

Okay, time to get enchanting

I started out as a sneaky dual wielding archer. The bow is the primary weapon (skill 90 something) and the blades secondary.

I've worn light armor for the entire game but has now smithen my self a heavy steel armor, just because I like the look of it and because I want to go all Conan for a while.

My thinking, it’s no problem getting over the armor cap with my super enhanced steel armor so I will be able to take some massive amounts of damage with out going down, despite my skill level in heavy armor being low.

In fact when I went out to snag another level to get to the perk “extra effect” I was attacked by an assassin and decided to just let him have a go at me. I just stood there healing my self, looking at his frenetic dual wielding that did almost no damage at all. The level ups from restoration and heavy armor pretty quickly bumped me up to level 51, which got me the “extra effect” perk.

But I would still like to be able to continue sneaking in the shadows, one shooting falmers with my bow. So with some muffle on my boots, I can have the best of both worlds, right?

So what do you guys and gals say about this enchanting set up?

Boots: Fortify Muffle and Fortify One Handed

Necklace: Fortify Archery and Resist Fire

Ring: Fortify Archery and Fortify One Handed

Helmet: Fortify Archery and Fortify Restoration

Armor: Fortify Heavy Armor and Fortify Stamina Regeneration

You might want some more Muffle if your sporting Heavy Armor.

I would give up Fire Resistance as those potions are easy to come by for the few times you really need it. Or, you could make a second ring to swap out for Elemental Resistance, then you can add Ice

Hmm, yes maybe. I really only need fire resistance when I face those pesky dragons. The fry me up pretty good. It's a good idea making a secondary ring to use when needed, they doesn't weigh anything so that wouldn't be a problem.

Adding more muffle, could be an idea. My sneak is 100 and enemies just run pass me when I'm wearing my Nightingale armor. How much muffle would I need to compensate for the heavy armor? Feeling a little bit reluctant to take out any of the archery and one handed enhanchements.

I don't know how much Muffle you would need. If you are not being easilly detected now at 100, maybe not much. However for those who have Sneak at a much lower level, that would require more.

Is there a Standing Stone that has Muffle as an effect? I don't think the Thief Stone does that. But if so, that would be a way in game to try it out.

Or, you can make a save, try it and see how much you need.

Spoiler
The ebony mail and muffled shoes, all you need for sneaking in heavy armor. Having weightless heavy armor and the silence sneak perk makes you a sneak god (even better than light armor) with that setup.

The ebony mail has a strange muffle effect, that stacks in some way with the usual muffle, you can also cast muffle for further stacking.

You might want to put +sneak on the necklace, as you can find truly excellent resist fire necklaces in the stores. For muffle it is best to make your own. That gives full muffle afaik.

Oh, really? That sound cool. I only have found some stray ebony weapons this far but no apparel. For some reason I really like to find my gear instead of making or buying them. But I'll sure to check it out when I find some of the good stuff.

It's not like usual heavy armor, it's a daedric artifact.

I'm the same, I much prefer using armor I have found. Or I just wear the same basic steel armor, and improve it (only take the steel and arcane smithing perks).
