What are you doing to blow off time?

Post » Mon Feb 21, 2011 3:45 pm

Between work, law school, studying for law school, and enjoying the absolutely gorgeous fall weather we're having here in Minnesota, I don't have oodles of free time...yet. Next week just happens to be mid-term break, so I'll get a fair amount of playing time in. Even when my weekend off rolls around at the end of next week, I still can't justify playing for 24 hours straight. Everything in moderation, you know. :)

Having finished law school here in Denmark and currently being unemployed, i'm bored like never before, anxiously awaiting the 22nd where the EU-version of F:NV releases.

I'm going to give Fallout 2 one last chance to maintain my attention for more than half an hour.

I'm off to NMA for a savegame editor. I have a feeling it will be able to if Chosen One can actually hit the broadside of a barn from ten feet away.

Watching the largest and most time consuming DVDs that I have (Stargate SG-1) Since every game I try to play gets boring really fast because I only want to play F:NV lol

Still playing Civ 5, STALKER: Call of Pripyat, King's Bounty: Crossworlds, and occasionally I still play Heroes of Might and Magic 3 with the Wake of the Gods mod.

I was only introduced to Fallout on Fallout 3 so I'm reading the Overviews and backstory of Fallout 1 and 2 on the wikis.

Tuesday can't get here fast enough. :)

I reinstalled Fallout 3 last week and played it for a couple of days, decided that I was enjoying it far too much and uninstalled it, don't want to burn out on repeatedly shotgunning people in the head before my copy of New Vegas arrives :flamethrower:

Otherwise I'm obsessively reading forums, watching videos, reading previews, drinking vodka and eating good food.

I got work the next two nights so hopefully that will occupy most of my time this weekend. Then on Monday i thought about playing Fallout 3 one last time, and at midnight i should have my copy. So only 2 days left now.

I have tried to play other video games in the mean time, everything bores me now though. I am trying to get the insanity and level 60 achievement on Mass Effect but it is so tedious after you have already played the game 3 times. Damn limited fun on consoles.

Moding fallout 3, trying to finish fallout 1 and 2, annoying my girlfriend with talk of new Vegas, clearing peoples trash for a living, and laying bricks at collage.

Trying (and failing) to stay interested in the rest of my 360 and PC games. Not working though. The only thing I've been able to play is Fable 2 except this bug that prevents job quests from being completed is driving me nuts. I'm freakin' BORED.

Well, i havent played FO3 since April (yes i have had withdrawal simptoms, but have resisted the temptation) , so i thought i would dust it off and play again until NV arrives. I've just met Fawkes again , i love that guy!! :)

I bloody love that game, i had (nowhere near!) forgotten how much! Looking at my 1000+ hour saves reminded me! I simply cannot wait to play NV! If it gives me even half the playing time of FO3 it'll be epic!

Roll on next week!! :fallout:

Watching Spartacus: Blood and Sand (Because of Caesar's Legion), Sons of Anarchy (Ron Pearlman), Book of Eli, and a few films I directed with friends to get a feel for the game world (Post Apocalyptic Feel, and setting.).
Playing Borderlands and Oblivion, converting non-believers to the faith of Fallout, and stockpiling things I will need while I play the game, such as food, drinks, and munitions.

Watching Rob Zombie Movies.

You might enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66D7gLKEDYg. It's from the Fox News show "Red Eye", where Rob Zombie is talking about directing his friend Malcolm MocDowell (John Henry Eden himself) in CSI: Miami, and ridiculing David Caruso.

Incidentally, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iGw1Ml1w79I Malcolm McDowell being brilliant in CSI: Miami.

Losing my freaking mind. I can't remember the last time I was this excited about anything. I have given up hope at trying to play other games and am now distracting myself by listening to music. I'm stuck on "Scotty Doesn't Know" from the Eurotrip movie atm.
