what are you doing to keep you occupied until tonight?

Post » Thu Dec 08, 2011 3:02 pm

Cleaning up in my room, preparing it for awesomeness. Making space for the food/energy drinks/snack I'll buy tomorrow before picking up the game.

And hopefully falling asleep early so I'm well-rested tomorrow.

I'm getting it first thing tomorrow morning, so I have the agony of attempting sleep. Tonight I think I'm just going to lurk here, because I love you guys.

I'm re-installing Oblivion ATM, then I'll be playing that all the while wishing it was Skyrim...

Modern Warfare 3. If you are into Shooters this campaign and Multiplayer is absolutely awesome. so much better than MW2 n my opinion. The story is intense and filled with great twists and turns. If you start the campaign now you shouldfinish it by the time you have to leave tonight to go get in line haha

Try this: just got it in the mail (Europe), but I can't play yet because I broke my ankle 7 weeks ago and I live with my parents for the time being. Only 1 television and I can't kick the poor folks out of their house. :swear:
But I'm gonna play the !@#$ out of it the next week, since I can't work ATM.

I was going to come home from work and take a long nap but I can't sleep. I hadn't let myself get excited over skyrim, I haven't read reviews or even visited the skyrim forum that much. Now that it's going to come out and I know I will be playing another game of my favorite series I can't get over being excited.

Chatting over facebook with a good friend for a bit, then probably watch a movie until I get tired. I'll probably sleep terribly, I've not slept very well the past week and knowing I'll get Skyrim tomorrow will make that worse. I'm going to collect it tomorrow morning.

I'm making a huge pot of beef stew. I intend to live off it for the next week or so.

I had to go for a bike ride to get out of the house before I yanked my hair out by the roots. I get cabin fever and anxiety attacks when I'm waiting for something. (I pace.) The ride fixed it right up, feeling great now.

Damn, the smell of my stew are starting make me really hunger. It's still hours away though.

I'm listening to Pogues (currently) and the Groovie Ghoulies (shuffle) to try and keep my brain busy. I can't play other games, I've tried in the past and I'm just too pumped for Skyrim to be interested.

P.S.

Oh yeah, and being here when not in the kitchen.

Going to play Morrowind, my favourite game ever.
Should I go to Solstheim or stay on Vvardenfell?
I don't want to be too exposed to the Nordic culture in Solstheim, because it might dilute it when I get to Skyrim tonight. On the other hand, I want to go there, using the similar settings as the transition from one game to another.
Ten hours left!

I'm getting mine on Sunday, I did a good job not hyping myself up for this game since they released the teaser, unlike Oblivion where I would constantly be looking up new information about it, making every day seem longer.

Tonight? I'm not getting Skyrim until about 5-7 PM tomorrow. Until then, I'll be doing a combination of music-listening, homework, possibly a bit of cleaning (not that I want to... I'm exhausted and preoccupied with other things and now it gets sprung upon me out of nowhere... ), catching up on the sleep I've been neglecting this entire week (to the point where my body aches and just feels weak... good thing I've got tomorrow off), and, if I have any time, trying to fill out some university applications.

Rollin' some smokes, getting some food and brew ready, bringing the TV's into the den and just relaxing with some friends until we leave in about 3 hours to go hang at Gamestop.

No longer killing time waiting for midnight release. Standing listening to people cry about how cold it is luckily I got here well before the line wrapped around the building.

I'm sitting in front of my computer, listening to Pandora and going through my Time Waster bookmarks.

Currently, I'm somewhere between this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0MiVjitccnE
