So, what are you guys doing to past the time till patch?

Post » Fri Dec 09, 2011 4:18 pm

Besides the odd crash I have no problems, so I ain't waiting for a patch.... if I was though because I wouldnt play anything that in my eyes isn't perfect, I would kill the time with alcohol and drink myself into a coma. Easiest way to pass time is to just be unconscious. ;)

Sorry to thread hijack (sort of) but what is actually wrong with the game? I am meant to be getting it for Christmas on the PS3... is this unwise?

Really struggling to work out what is going on, but it sounds like Skyrim should be avoided until the New Year...

I feel so naive when I play the game happy and carelessly.. and read on the forums that the game is broken and unplayable.

Yep. Sometimes it feels like Bethesda saved the only working Skyrim copy for me

Bethesda: You seem to have come in possession of a copy that was intended for QA to test or Todd's own private collection

so we'll make the next patch just for you so you'll have the version that you were meant to have in the first place

That make a few of us then? I can honestly say that, after 125 hours, I've seen nothing happen...none of these 'reversing dragons', or 'flying horses'...it's been epic!

Put 100 hours into Skyrim, now I'm on a break. Going to play more this weekend. Game works great for me, but no one else apparently. :disguise:

The PS3 version had a fairly big gamebreaking bug where if your file save got too big, then it became laggy to the point of unplayability. I'm not sure if this has been fixed not being a PS3 player myself, but if I were you I'd check that bug was fixed at least.
As for me, I didn't download the latest patch so my game is ok. I mean, I've had the odd bug/glitch here and there but nothing that has stopped me from playing the game completely, like that save file bug, or other not-gamebreaking-but-pretty-debilitating bugs like the magic resistance bork or backasswards dragons.
