I wish I could say the changes to vampirism, but I hate the look of the VL, & I'm worried about what it means for the base vampire.
So, the possibility of more silver weapons.

Wait no, armored trolls. Trolls in armor trump everything.
God, I miss the noises trolls used to make in Oblivion.

New areas to explore, including the castles, all the little things that won't actually get mentioned in previews that we'll discover as we play.
New sidequests, new area hubs to work out of (the castles again) ...and blocking out the sun to begin a reign of darkness that will drink the life from the land and create a new age of everlasting night muahahaha.

...and crossbows.

Oh and the Vampire changes, not just the lord mode, I'm excited to see how they tweak existing vamps.

Some decent lore to vampires, as they've been even more neglected than werewolves, and lycans are also really badly neglected when it comes to lore

Oh you know, the usual. The promise of further adventure and plots to unfold. New shinies for my personal collection. A fortress/castle befitting my position as the most powerful entity in Skyrim.
And the ability to perform a Vampiric Fus Ro Dah pimp slap.

Killing lots of new beasties!
And now that they say it, armored trolls sound pretty cool.
OOH! And the plastic surgeon in Riften! The first thing i do when i get it is make Tywyll have a shave, a wash and a nice hair cut. (he looks like he just came back from a Greatful Dead concert...)

there are 4 major things i look for in dawnguard.

1.Shooting vampire lords in the face with a crossbow(hopefully made of dragonbone.)

2.Killing each one of the new creatures.

3.Changing my features in riften.really want to get rid of my dorky face paint.

4.finding out how to become a werewolf again if you cured yourself.

The new and amazing looking vampire lord and the perk trees so being a vampire is as useful as being a werewolf. The amazing looks of the new enemies and the advancement in dragons.

I'm mostly looking forward to seeing how the whole blocking out the sun plan works out, if it is actually achievable if you join the vampire side, and what the world would look like after doing so.

Sounds simple, but new things to kill.
Lords and Daedra know, I've cleared near enough everything.
Oh, and obviously the new story aspect.
