What class is strongest?

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 7:00 pm

1. Mage, what type?
2 warrior: 1h+block? 2x1h+sneak? 2h?
3 archer?

I mean like playstyle, no proffessions etc..

Like in order if you count skill perks too. Like which is easiest and safest to play with. I think it's archer but I haven't tryed rest yet so can't say for sure.

This question is based on master difficulty.

Archery with sneak, I've taken down frost trolls using the bow of flame, and they've never seen their killer.

I think clerics are op! They just heal and can't be killed in PvP! Omg!

On a serious note, you can be everything at once, and you wll be eventually, so there is no real strongest. What is op? Daggers most likely. I think it would be better if no weapon was able to onehit giants on Master.

Sneak archer that abuses the crafting system can pretty much one shot anything in pure safety. Elder dragons might take 2-3 shots, depending on if you get a crit. That said, one shotting everything from afar does get boring after a while.

Archer is pretty ridiculous with all capable pieces enchanted +archery % and appropriate talents. Don't even need sneak. I personally prefer 1h + shield but mages are a true pain in the ass even with 40% spell resistance, archers don't really have that issue when they one shot the mage from range.

And a Warrior can one shot anything while being immortal.

BATTLEMAGE+ARCHERY!
For combat at least. Otherwise as stated...
Enchanter Blacksmith. Cause then you can look after/ make better gear to suit the combat style.

sneak(dagger)=sneak(marksman)>>>>>>>>>>>>>archer=>warrior>>>>>>>mage

Both with and without crafting (ab)use, respectively. This can also be used a build flexibility chart.

Because sneaking up to someone and one shotting them is somehow better than just walking in and one shotting everyone in the room one by one or one shotting them at range..

Without Smithing and Enchanting then Sneak Archers are probably the best but with it nothing is even close to being on par with Warriors.

The Max out as much as possible, one character to try and do everything the game has to offer class.

I dunno, getting 39k hits spammable with shadow warrior (on most mobs) isn't too bad :P

Orc warrior/enchanter/blacksmith. All your ridiculous bonuses from enchanting and smithing + Berserker Rage is insane.

Not counting crafting skill exploit or abuse, a conjuration/illusion mage is incredibly strong on master difficulty.

This depends.

Mage - Conjuration. Needs no "questionable" methods to destroy anything and everything even on master. Hell you don't really even need to do anything except summon stuff then go grab a beer while you watch.
Mage - Destruction. Not the greatest damage but you chain stagger things to the point nothing can even fight back(dragons included). Requires extreme luck in loot or use of 100% cost reduction enchants
Warrior - All types. HUGE damage. Requires use of smithing+enchanting
Asssassin - All types. 1 shot everything. Requires use of smithing+enchanting

That's why I spread my perks across one handed and light armor as well, it prevents archery becoming too powerful, my level 38 character still has to hit a deathlord with around 10 arrows to take him down, but it is fun sneaking around them as they wonder where the arrows came from.

I'd say one shotting Alduin,or any mob/boss is considered more OP.

nord warrior: 1h + shield, light armor, archery, fire resistance, shock if needed, armsman, shield wall and bash, smithing 100, enchanting, savage strike, bladesman. depends on what level you play Adept don't even need to block. perks in shield for magic and arrows. You are a tank. zero magicka. zero spell. Maybe resto would be useful but unnecessary. oh and light armor perks.

...Enchanter Blacksmith, hands down.

This x100. Enchanter Blacksmiths, just slap on one/two handed skill, light/heavy armor skill and magic resistance... and full legendary deadric or dragon scale armour. Your attack rating and defense rating will be on par or even higher then getting the related perk trees up and then slap on a few enchantments on the weapon... just entirely OPed.
