What "class" am I?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 9:40 pm

I have no idea what class I can call myself, it started as ranger but I'm something else.
I have six perks in smithing.
Skill is 100.
I have three perks in enchanting.
Skill is 41.
I have three perks in heavy armor.
Skill is 62.
I have two skills in block.
Skill is 49.
I have two perks in two-handed.
Skill is 53.
I have eight perks in one-handed.
Skill is 81.
I have two perks in archery.
Skill is 48.
I have six perks in speech.
Skill is 100.
I have four perks in illusion.
Skill is 100.
I have two perks in destruction.
Skill is 37.
Yeah, so by that what "class" would you intelligent people suggest I am?
(btw I never use Destruction, I just posted everything I had a perk in)

I agree with Scow2, I can see "Knight" in all that.

No pun intended.

This is the beauty of Skyrim where you have the total freedom to mess up your character by spending points in useless perks.
You seem very jack of all trade-ish. I'd call it being an Opportunist, to use whatever the situation favors best.

It's kinda hard to tell because it depends on how much you use the skills really. By the looks of it your main abilities that define you are block (and obviously a 1h to go with that) and illusion. That can range from being a battlemage (if using fury/frenzy a lot), a paladin (using calm to soothe people, and Call or Arms for a beneficial aura) to a mere warrior that rarely uses the spells.
I assume you don't use muffle/invisibility because you have no perks in stealth.

A heavy Armor wearing blocking, melee using character that uses a bow for backup and talks a lot. Either a heavy armored pelgrim or some sort of knight.

Oh, if it makes any difference I also am working on alteration now, (because I want detect life)
Am I still a knight even so?
I would love to name myself Sir dalas from now on instead of Eligius Dalas. :D
EDIT: I mostly use my sword and shield, then if I find a wolf along the road for example? That's when I use illusion :P
I don't really like the idea of killing every living animal on nirn so that's why I have illusion, also if I am in sticky situations I use invisibility to hide.
I have not even bought muffle and I don't sneak unless hunting for meat (that's why I have archery)
I depend on two-handed for killing dragons.

Wow, that's really messy :x. Why did you level both one-handed and two-handed?

If you had gone for light-armor that would totally be a bard.

I have some light armour aswell, just no perks in it so I didn't post, I love to wear studded, elven and my favorite FUR. So yeah :D
And about one-handed and two-handed...
My skyforge steel battleaxe works great against dragons.
EDIT: And I took the light armor route in Smithing. Went to dragon, only dragonscale armor because dragonbone is ugly.
I guess when I use heavy armor it's pretty much Steel plate, or Iron.

Looking at your stats, you look like a retired Battlemage contemplating a career in politics, because obviously you like to talk too damn much.

Well, I do always go with an intelligent guy, instead of a drooling brute, like in Fallout.
My 100 skills there was medicine, speech (or whatever it was called) science.. Etc

You are a perfect example of the "Spent-my-perks-in-totally-random-places-that-make-no-sense" class

Or, more specifically, a "didn't-have-any-idea-what-I-was-doing-at-first-but-eventually-decided-to-make-an-Eldrich-Knight"... That is also good on diplomacy and mechandising...

Versatility. He can use any weapon he needs.

If you want defence, you can do 1-h and shield. If you want damage, dual weild. 2-h is a cheap tradeoff for those who want something in between with half the perk cost, if you already have block and 1-h it's useless... :P

I can see myself in that...
I only wasted perks on destruction, and enchanting though, that's 5 perks :cryvaultboy:
Oh btw, aren't knights supposed to be diplomatic and shiz?

... No it's not. Some battles call for dual-wielding. Others call for sword+board. Some require you to hit your enemies with a really big hammer.

Don't worry, everyone made a mess of their first character...

BTW, you can never "waste" points in enchanting... it is the most powerful skill in the game.
Also, knights, paladins and the like are not necessarily diplomatic - more often than not, they are simply following orders from their king/lord or whatnot, in the name of justice or whatever. Basically, just a more refined version of the common warriors...
Except from Eldrich/Arcana/Death/Black Knights, which are simply doing whatever they please XD and btw with destruction and illusion you are more close to an "evil" knight.

Dual weilding is for ninjas.
I personally don't see it fit roleplaying-wise that I use dual weilding, also I prefer what looks best, and my dude standing in fur armour dancing around looks worse than a Steel battleaxe.
(Yes i'm level 44 and I use fur armour and steel weapons)
My sword is rather OP though, because my favorite sword does good damage when you have all perks that add damage to 1h. (plus I have to make up for my armour :P)

Do everything I can to stay away from evil quests, not doing daedra quests, destroying the dark brotherhood, staying away from thieves guild.
Still get called evil....
