What a day I had!

I met Spriggans for the first time - in Bloated Man's Grotto. Two 2 handed firebolts work well on them.

Got the scare of my gamaing experience as well. I'm walking toward some steps and I see antlers in the top of a dead tree, and I think, "I can reach those from here..." so I walk up to take them and a Spriggan jumps out of the tree right in my face. Just like those videos your best friend sends you where the hag face jumps out at you. I actually hit my head against the back of my chair.

And I found a Fairy Ring! Southeast of Markarth somewhere. Probably every mushroom in the game, about 20 in all. That was cool.

AND I hit level 30 with my Smithing (stop laughing) and NOW I can create Elven weapons and armor and improve them TWICE as much.

And on a side note, I called in sick today - lied my ass off. Totally justified. So yeah... it's been a great day!

That's the first time you've ever seen a Spriggan or just the first time in Bloated Man's Grotto?

And you called in the day after The 4th of July? :o. No one's gonna' believe that - unless you work for Pointy-Haired Boss. Assuming you're in the US, of course. :P

Nice. I remember that video too.

I came across it once too. It was pretty cool to see it with my own eyes.

I went through a phase when I loved everything elven. I still love Elven weapons. They look great. I would say that Elven armor and elven weapons are good enough to take you all the way to the end of the game. In fact, many optimized builds use elven as armor and weapon of choice.

And on a side note, I called in sick today - lied my ass off. Totally justified. So yeah... it's been a great day!

A lot of Archers consider the Elven bow to be the best because of the way it splits the difference between speed and damage. :P
