So it is an open world action fps, and all the descriptions I read about this game have that as one of the main points. But if you payed full price for games like Mafia II, who also touted the fact that it was a open world you can understand the possible pitfall in advertising a game in that way(I had horrible buyer regret after buying Maffia 2 at release, it was a great story but there was nothing else to the game). I haven't seen any vids or any articles that discussed this in any way, I was just wondering if there are thoughts as to what the non-MQ portion of the game will be like. It mentions side-quests but really, most games have side-quests as minor portions of the show, minus games like Fallout and Mass Effect. Being that bethesda is far and away the king of quest based games (bioware a close second), can we expect to see a game with similar content?
Thoughts? Hopes? Requests?
It may not even have side-quests. The side-quests out of the main game are going to be 2 player co-op I think, and from what i understand there are only 8 "levels". So that might not even be sandbox.
We know there is armor but its a "suit". As can be seen in the pre-order. I don't think there will be individual armor pieces. Which is disappointing.
We know there will be different types of ammo's to play with, but in terms of weapons I don't think there are going to be different types of the same weapon, as in, your assault rifle is most likely going to be a ak47 for the entire game, without other assault models such as a M16. Think, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 as your weapon slots, but you aren't getting different kinds of weapons of the same category. At least thats how I understand it.
