What exactly have the patches fixed?

Post » Mon Mar 14, 2011 11:25 pm

Before I start playing New Vegas again, I want to see what issues have been fixed by the patches. Is there any place online where I can see what has been fixed?

Thank you

take a look at the game updates post by gstaff. should be the first one at the top of this subforum.

but in my opinion, [censored] all was fixed. at least not a much as I thought would be. they added some things, like crafting filters and mods work on DLC weapons, but it seems people are still having issues.

edit: also if your just starting to play again I would just start a new game. any old saves are going to have a new patch to suddenly adapt to, and from personal experience that doesn't go so well...

the new patch doesn′t fix the issues. It′s still impossible to play the game until the end. I don′t think that they can develope a Fallout game without bugs and freezing issues. I have hoped for an christmas miracle that they maybe could release an universal patch, but my hope and the hope from other thousand Fallout fans are hopeless....

sorry, but thats the reality...

Yeah, lets sell this broken P.O.S.! seriously its impossible for this game to be playable without relatively constant freezing but of course you will never here a Bethesda employee say that. I don't care how many patches they throw out at it, they won't fix it.

I really wish they would release patch notes details on the PS3 after the patch downloads and installs, as some games do in the PC versions. This would at least give you the option to view what they "fixed" as well as "Known issues", to me that would state: "We care about our players" and show at least a little effort, rather than having to go around online looking for forums and etc. Not to mention a lack of bug reporting abilities. I still love the Fallout series, I just save often (every few minutes)... But I'm sad that such an armature bunch of people bought this series and will probably lead it to it's death. The game may be O.K. IF and WHEN it works, but they've killed it by making it virtually unplayable.
