What faithful companions do you mourn after they fall?

I lost Ria. I should never have asked her to come with me into Forelhost. I thought it would be good training.

I can still hear her now... 'I killed a bear yesterday. Did you kill anything?'

My redguard spellsword is a devout Dibellan, and only rolls with members of the opposite six. He is extremely close to both Lydia and Jordis and would be crushed if he lost either one. They are totally buffed bosses at this point, so it hasnt been much of a problem. Having just completed the companions quest, he has always had his eye on Ria. There is a lot more muscle in there to choose from, but Ria has such a sweet disposition, that he couldnt resist training her. Took her to breezehome to meet Lydia, and to Solitude to meet Jordis. Also visited my archmage quarters to meet Brelyna who he also rolls with. Finally, a visit to Markarth to introduce her to his wife Senna, and enchanted the RiaBurner and buffed armor and health rings for her. Took her out for the first time last night and was promptly attacked by an elder dragon. Had to heal her once, but she is a real trooper. Also explored 2 caves with her and she held her own. I am going to groom her as the 4th member of my inner circle (Lydia / Jordis / Brelyna), but would be crushed if I lost her. And, that is exactly the quote of hers that would haunt me.

I use set essential though I did disable both Lydia and Jordis because I frankly don't want them hanging about my house and saying "I hpe you're not here to start trouble" when I walk in the door. Bethesda needs better writers. I only set essential Marcurio but then again who wants to lose a hubby.

Lydia: Brave and idealistic so was found wanting. Her desire to have a Nord worthy death led her to stand between her thane and a dragon priest. Her and the priest were consumed in the summoned conflagration. I am happy to report the thane survived without a scratch and profited well from the encounter. I would have returned Lydia’s bones to their home in Whiterun but the Jarl would not provide a replacement. Stubborn Nord.

Sven: His skill and blind trust made him a perfect sacrifice to Boethiah. The armor looks well on the manikin in the basemant.

Jenassa: Is working out well so far. Understands fire hot, ice cold, storms shocking and all can kill in the right hands. Nords have trouble with the concept. Jenassa appreciates that her employer’s power benefits her as well. Her services will need to be ended… violently… if she sees weakness.

Khorjo was my Khajiit companion. He died after TWO dragons came at me in the middle of a forest clearing. I took his body to an abandoned Khajiit camp and I drop bottles of Skooma there. He would've liked that :)
