What gambling games do you want to be in NV

Post » Tue May 17, 2011 11:26 am

I think that there need to be more gambling games than just black jack, roulette and slots because of all the gambling games in the world, these are some of the less interactive and intense
how about
1. Texas holdem- best poker game out there
2. Dice
3. 5 card draw
4. some kind of fighting pit that is like the arena in Oblivion

don't know how to play that, which raises the question, how do the developers deal with people that don't know how to play poker, maybe they could have some sort of quick tutorial session or video on how to play the different games

I'm pleased with the vanilla games.Only thing I'd like to know is if you can join poker games in taverns across the wastes, and what the Caravan Card game is.

Yeah, a short tutorial should suffice... if not, the person playing could always use google to find out how to play a certain game. :tops:

I would've loved if they'd made craps (a dice game) a playable game.

I think it would be a little weird on the engine. It would just be weird. Poker on the other hand, should be in the game. Hopefully it's just the Tops that doesn't have it.

Yeah, Texas Hold 'Em is a must. Dice would be awesome too, if that's the one where the player always aims for 7 or something from two die, with all those beautiful women surrounding him as his streak goes stronger.

I agree, Texas hold'em is an absolute must. it is a game that takes skill to win and isn't like black jack where it is just "hit me", "hit me", "i'll hold"

Wasn't it said somewhere, though, that the only playable games were Black Jack, Roulette and Slots in casinos and Caravan in the wastes? (might be wrong too, but I have a faint recollection of something like that being said by the devs somewhere)

I heard that too, but they could add them as DLC or make a quick change to the game, on the IGN report at E3, Bethesda says they have a guy that worked on poker video games so it shouldn't be that hard to add new games in

I read or watched an interview with someone involved in the game and they said the Caravan card game will be played with different cards you find throughout the gameworld.. something like that. May or may not be similar to Final Fantasy VIII's card game from the sound of it.

Baccarat? I don't even think the dev's are old enough to know how to play that game. On that note, how was the Great Depression? Which side did you fight for in the Civil War (wasn't very civil now, was it - that's humor from your time, huh)? Also, was it hard to learn the internet, with all it's buttons?

But I digress, we should be able to bet on all kinds of fights: from gun fights to fistfights, from super mutants to mole rats, from NPC vs. NPC to NPC vs. PC.

Well the game is due to release in two months so it's a little to late to add suggestions but I hope that we can play pool or darts.
