What Gets you Exploring

Post » Thu Jul 12, 2012 4:24 pm

So I wanted to see why people go into the places they go into, is there something that directly influences them or is it just the compulsion to go into every dungeon. I wanted to see how and why you go to the places you go.

When I'm exploring part of it is my own curiosity, I'll see a cave on the compass east of where I am at and I'll head there. Whether or not I go in is kind of dependent on the things I find at the entrance and sometimes...the name of the place sounds kind of cool to explore as well.

So, what gets you exploring?

Pretty much the same thing with me. If I presume the place is filled with spiders for example,I'm like: "hell no,I ain't dealing with it right now".

Power, plain and simple... cast the right spells within the right dungeon and you get out a lord, at least until you get ambushed by two spriggans and a cave bear, or a frost troll in low levels... I understand there are funny dungeons, with bandits to be charmed... silently neutralized. Oh yes >: -D

Gutslit is always hunting, so he is usually exploring and coming home to put his pelts away.
