What has been your scariest moment in the game. It can either be intentional or an accident.

Mine?

Vault 34 - I don't hate this place like so many others. The radiation wasn't a problem at all. The atmosphere was already just creepy as hell. I decided to go in by myself, because I like traveling alone. I left Veronica in Goodsprings for the moment. I had just killed a few ghouls in a room and I could still hear the other ghouls in other parts of the vault snarling. I turned to leave the room and found Veronica standing there behind me. I almost, simultaneously, crapped my pants and jumped out of my chair. And I don't get scared easy at all....like, ever.

That place was intense, loved it.

For me though, I was doing a little exploring when I came across this abandoned farmhouse or something, I think it was in the hills north or nipton. Anyway as I was heading inside I heard the battle music kick in, when I was in I turned around to watch the door and a friggen blind deathclaw came in. Then it tore me to pieces

Having Boone charge the Legion guys with a Machette when I expected him to use his shiny Hunting Rifle and before I could get any shots off with my Gobi Sniper Rifle.

Early in the game vs the nightkin. One materialized in front of my face when i turned around a corner. I was like,"WTF!?" xD

I hate it when i'll be walking through a dark, creepy area, hunting ghouls, and then suddenly the camera cuts to Boone's kill, and without warning all i can see/ hear is some feral getting decapitated when i'm not even expecting it. it Just shocks the crap out of me!

victor... somehow beening stalked creeps me like hell

I was walking up to Black Mountain when one of those nightkin bastards charges from a bunch of barrels and attacks me.

Deathclaws scare me....those big big huge buggers are hard to kill(especially on Hard difficulty).

ok, so I was going through camp searchlight on the way to attempt to meet the legion... and the area turns greenish at night (maybe in the day as well, idk) b/c of the radiation and what I didn't know was my companions had gone off fighting a legion mongrel. You know how sometimes when you get a get it zooms in on it? Well, they killed it while I was running the the greenish town being alert for ghouls and bam ... a mongrel pops up on the screen and makes a dying yelp... that scared the hell out of me. Totally wasn't expecting it. lol

Facing the Legate... I seriously almost wet myself after getting KO'd with two swings of his sword...

I'm just wandering around...minding my own business and it's completely quiet and dark....when all of a sudden I hear a BANG and I see a feral Ghouls face on my screen spinning until it hits the floor....

Now that I'm rereading it, I'm laughing my ass off, but it makes me so mad I start cussing up a storm at Veronica...like WTF really?!

My scary moments happen very often when i have a companian whenever she disappears to kill something my camera jumps to whatever she kills.Also i often shoot Veronica on accident becuz everytime i enter a room she's always standing in front of me

When I accidentally fell down off the ledge in the Broc Flower Cave into a radiated pit full of mutated rats.

When I first saw Mr. House's real body I nearly crapped myself. I was expecting a brain in a jar, not THAT.

I couldn't agree more. I was stuck in there for 2 in-game weeks.

Also -- VAULT 22, Creepy as sh*t.

I decided I was going to be lazy and push through the quarry early in the game. I was warned about the deathclaws. So there I am running straight through the quarry and start getting to the edge thinking hell yea made it through. Then the music started and at first I was like, "I made it through Old Oney with no problem how bad could one death claw be." I turn around and see 4 deathclaws converging on me from all directions. I said every swear word and then some. Needless to say a Varmit rifle and 9mm cant do much against 4 deathclaws.

Vault 34, dont mind what the feral ghouls look like but the soudn they give off gives me the heeby jeebys, as soon as I approached this vault and saw all the radiation around it I knew it was going to be creeeeepy.
Brother hood of steel bunkers, I went too all of them before I found the right one without Veronica and figured it was some kind of cult of canibals especialy after reading the journal and seeing the strange phenominon at night.
Camp Searchlight.

Walking north from sloan at level five. I thought one deathclaw was scary in Fallout 3. But holy hell man, THREE AT ONCE AGAINST A LEVEL FOUR.

its been 5 days this came out.. and one of my friend who plays alot of games (like im seriouse.. he buys every game when it comes out..and play like hell)

didnt even bought the game..... and.. not playing any games...

i think something big is really going on....

idk but it scares the living crap out of me wen i check my surroundings and theres a super mutant chasing me with a super sledge btw i dont like the music so i turn it off so ya i have noway of knowing unless i get hit

ditto to both of these.

Either going through the REPCONN factory (the ghouls seem faster in this game)
Going around the Hidden Valley bunkers as they were creepy

or bumping into a cazador. I hate them

The whole "supernatural" ordeal around Hidden Valley at night is awesomely creepy. :clap:

Well i was wandering around the south part of the map at around lvl 6. Found a few radscorpions, started shooting them it was all fun. Heard a hissing noise and turned around and found a nightstalker i was like [censored]! GET AWAY! I then killed it. Turned around and there was 6 more was all like [censored] JESUS [censored]! GAHHHH!!! RUUUNN!!! KILL IT EDDIE! KILL HIT!! GAHHHHH

Died but it was fun xD
