What is Honest Hearts' level recommendation

Post » Fri May 13, 2011 7:57 am

Hello

I searched a bit, but didn't find any info on the subject. With Dead money, it was recommended that you used a high level character (lvl 20 and above if I remember correct)

Now, my problem is that I deleted the highest leveled character by mistake, and so had to make a new one (level 20 atm).

Does anyone know if the level recommendation is similar, or higher (like level 25 or 30?) If no one knows, then I thought we could at least post it here post-launch, as soon as we find out.

I'm going in at 15. I think a bit of a challenge will be there ( or I'll be ripped to shreds.) but it won't be the hardest thing ever (insert diry joke here).

yep at 20 you are preaty much a walking tank anyway, but in case you are having problems you can allways lv up your char or just take down dificulty a lil

If there is one it won't be above level 30, what with the trait being added in OWB that sets 30 as the level cap.

I don't think I can give an accurate level range, but 20 should be fine.

"That's what she said". Works in every occasion :P

Didn't have too much trouble in Dead Money at level 13, so i'm just gonna go there when i'm in the area. Just like in Fallout 3, Mothership Zeta was always the first DLC i completed while visiting Minefield for Moira :hehe: In which case The Lonesome Road will be the first DLC i'll complete in NV (assuming it starts at the Canyon Wreckage).

What's the lowest level you've successfully navigated it at? That might help give us a baseline.

I did the Helios One glitch and got to level 30 in less than 30 minutes of playing.

Woot!!!

Now I can have a character with a bunch of stimpacks( over 500), around 500 doc bags I'll make boone carry the most of, a robot with my lether armor, and 100's in most skills. So, I'll have a LUCKY, a gobi, and more*P

But thats on my boring playthrough.

i have a level 20-something with earned weapons and some aids.
no, not those aids!

What about this question....you don't have to be at a certain point in the game or anything, right? I never bought Dead Money, don't know how all this works exactly. I was thinking of level 15 as well. With Josh's post, maybe I'll split that and go in at lvl17. :)

Honestly, as long as you can take on 1-3 Yao Guai at once, you're set.
