I think it'd be cool to have a spell that works like a disease, it slowly kills them and can spread to other NPCs. Imagine wiping out towns with a spell like that.

Levitation from Tes 2 Daggerfall. Had a spooky supernatural feeling along with the time limit making it dangerous to use in some situations. Since Daggerfall though there really hasnt been a purpose for still having it around with no huge caverns to cross or walls to float up to sneak by whole areas of monster filled halls.

Devine Intervention, one less loading screen if you're in a dungeon and want to get to Whiterun to sell your loot.

Yes Mark And Recall was also one of my all time favorites in Daggerfall. Nothing like teleporting back to a dungeon entrance and not wasting time walking back possibly getting lost. It was also very useful for timed quests. Divine Intervention mentioned by StrelokCH was a nice replacement though it only teleported me to Tribunal Temples. yo :D

Mark and recall is not really needed in Skyrim because the dungeons are a lot less complex than Daggerfall's, although it would be nice just to have it. And didn't DI send you back to a shrine of the Nine Devines? Almsivi Intervention was the one for the Tribunal temples.

You might be right since i only vaguely remember Almsivi Intervention unless it was that healing scroll i could buy at certain shops. I remember a few times casting some spells and ending up in front of a Imperial fort so you might correct on the Divine Intervention. Sheesh its been awhile since i played Morrowind. Its been all Fallout 3 and Skyrim mostly since 2008.

They could've made some GREAT finishing moves for that.

I miss being able to fortify my acrobatics skills so that I could jump ridiculously high.

Checked it on UESP, Almsivi for Tribunal and Devine for Imperial Cult shrines. So Skyrim should get Devine Intervention for Towns and Mark and Recall to set your own teleportation points (maybe your house or something). Would be much more comfortable for both the regular players and the ones who don't want to use fast travel.

They could've made some GREAT finishing moves for that.
Three words: Mortal f'ing Kombat.

I miss Command Spells but with the crippling limit on summons/reanimations they wouldn't be much use. I also miss Levitation. How cool would it be to engage other sorcerors, Vampires and Dragons in the air?
