Level one. It felt "It sure is boring standing on this rock and spamming flame spell".

i didn't give it a try until level 32 or something. but then i took out four giants and three mammoths at the same time hahaha, i have no idea where they all came from. was intense

edit: maybe i should add that i play a stealth type of character, not powerful in combat and doesn't use magic

I'm about level 45 and I have hurt one yet as they are the nice people who care for the nice woolly mammoths. I haven't the heart to harm them. I think I have a quest telling me to so I'm sure I'll end up completing the quest eventually.

Level 6. Used a bow from a ledge of a mountain. 2 giants and 3 mammoths. Took like 20 minutes. Then I found out that those giants didn't have anything worth taking. Still, got both mammoth tusks I needed for misc quests. Was a major waste of time, except for the fact that my sneak and archery skills increased like 5 times each.

I got the first word of Animal Allegiance at a pretty low level, so just got the mammoths to do most of the work for me.

level 20, in melee, and 2 giants at once. Radiant quest. Sure was one hell of a fight. Had no chance until i discovered their weakness.

My Nord is lv 31, and the giant had but a sliver of health left after taking down a dragon for me. For some reason, the giant decided to come attack me and I finished it off.

I was lvl 6. Just sprinting and then turn around to shoot two arrows and then run again. I really don't remember anymore how long it took, but I killed both around 5am or something. I led them to whiterun though (just outside), but they killed all the guards in seconds. Then I was like: "been there done that."

Lvl 22, snuck up on it, hit it with my 6x critical and hit it with a few more swings of the sword, it was nice seeing him fall over, though I was hoping I could use his club. The mammoths are a lot harder than they are.

Level 7. I was standing on a rock with a stealth character launching arrow after arrow at the poor blighter.
The first time I "officially" killed a giant without an cheap tricks was around level 27-33 (or somewhere in between) on my Nord Warrior. That included one more giant and two mammoths - HRROOOAR! He's a tank!

And I was level 2, it felt pretty exciting, although it was a bit easy, it was amazing.

Probably level 40 or so. Tried attacking a mamoth at level 2 or 3 and got crushed! Stayed away until I got a quest after that!

About lvl 18 or so. I was being attacked by a Thalmor death squad (odd, just thought on this current playthrough i am lvl 59 and havent seen any Thalmor Death squads) and a Justiciar with a lightning staff was seriously handing it to my mage. I was backpedaling for all I was worth and backed right up into a giant and two mammoths. Serious battle. Vilkas actually vanished (giant punt I assume). Was hanging on by my last thread when it was all over. Wow, still gets my heart pumping remembering....

Pretty low level, less than 10. Knowing they were dangerous, I'd gone to the swamps and picked up enough ingredients to whip up a dozen paralysis poison potions. My alchemy wasn't that good yet, so they only lasted three seconds, but that's plenty long enough to run up after a poisoned bow shot and start chopping away with my greatsword (which I'd beefed up a fair bit with smithing and the Barbarian perk). I kept tossing on fresh poison when it started to stand up, so it never even fought back. Was pretty quick work - ended up with maybe 6 potions left, so I guess it took less than 20 seconds total. I felt like a clever hero and the Jarl was impressed, but honestly it was a pretty mechanical exercise.

I may have killed the one the companions were hunting outside Whiterun long before that, but that doesn't really count.

When I first got the game I beat one at a very low level by kiting. I haven't gotten up the nerve to fight one at close range yet.

How is that trolling?

If you're going to accuse people of trolling, know what trolling is and provide evidence.

Ps. You misused "your", the word you were looking for is "you're".
