So what music do you listen too when you play Skyrim?

Post » Fri Jun 22, 2012 1:38 am

Dont get me wrong I luv the Skyrim music but it gets a little boring after a while. So I enjoy listening to something thats equally comparable to it such as combat music from other games when I am in combat such and such. I like this one in particular:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mgfwq5SBQ3Q

I enjoy listening to this when I get into some really deep combat like killing a bunch of guards or lots of bandits. Anyone else listen to some cool music?

Edit: Here are the rest of the soundtracks to these famous rp series.

Like I posted in the last thread on this topic...http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1367902-what-music-do-you-listen-to-while-playing-skyrim/page__hl__music__fromsearch__1

I turned it down on 11-11-11 and never turned it up during gameplay.

I would love a feature or mod that temporarily replace all music with custom kits of music of your choise. Right now I can't even change song on Winamp as long as I am inside Skyrim.

Imo alot of Skyrim's music is not accounted for. For instance when there is a dramatic scene, the music just keeps playing it's ambient style (for instance creepy music), in stead of changing to a theme that is suited for that particular scene. Bethesda could learn few tricks from BioWare :) For my sake they could have reduced the Skyrims content in half and instead giving it more care and passion regarding music, AI and the impact of your actions on the world.

I don't listen to any other music when I play games, I like to hear what I'm doing. o.o
Maybe if I was playing tetris or something that doesn't have any real in-game sounds.

I haven't, since I was a newb with Oblivion, played any other music than the in-game music. I find the in-game music easier to immerse myself with than some of my favourite bands and music groups like ES Posthumus, Edguy, Avantasia, Epica, etc..

At the Gates, Through the Eyes of the dead, random deathcore, Bassnectar, Excision, and occasionally The Beatles.

With how much I enjoyed the music of Oblivion, I wouldn't mind listening to those again as well as some modded music I had as well. Actually tried to put the soundtrack into a Music folder I made in the Skyrim files but I don't think that worked

The music of TES is one of the things I love the most about it (I never played Morrowind though), so I wouldn't mind having it all together when I'm playing Skyrim. I'm hoping I can find a way to make it all play in Skyrim because there's nothing I would enjoy most than having Oblivion music in Skyrim. I agree however that Skyrim's music is really good but part of me is missing without Oblivions music.

Oh, you're a jerk. Haha

And Breaking Benjamin has a catchy formula to their music, but it lacks substance and musically, it's just as lame as nickelback.

That's right, I'm totally starting a new argument for us because of that bunny emoticon. :P
