What new skills would you like to see in Skyrim?

Things like trap-making, beast taming, tracking, fletching, bardic music, etc.. What would you most like to see in Skyrim?

For me, it would have to be trap-making. Traps would open up a world of tactical possibilities, much like poisons, and would complement my hunter character perfectly.

I love your suggestions, particularly trap making.

Since there isn't a perception attribute in the game, I'd love to have some kind of skill for perceiving enemies near my characters vicinity before they become little red dots of aggro.

beast taming - to pick just one, but all of your suggestions are great.

I thought Bethesda REMOVED many skills from the game because they didn`t want it to be `spreadsheety`.

I doubt they`re going to go and new ones in. Would be ironic.

That said, I would like new skills added. Ipersonally would like skills more specialised so a two handed warhammer was a separate skill from a two handed sword.

I think fletching might be most popular, but I remember about levels 10 to 20, constantly having to reset bandits' bear traps, and leading Draugr through their own swinging axes, for any advantage that would buy survival, so trap-making gets my vote.
My character would love to be a seamstress, though.

Well, I figured if I can make a full set of dragonscale armour from a dead beast's hide and some scrap iron, how hard can some noble's clothing or a wedding wreath be?

No. It`s a fine idea. I just didn`t expect that one. I suppose loom weaving and all that would fit as well.

Doubt it`ll happen though.

Well we already have detect life, but my idea behind tracking is that it will show nearby enemies and give you combat bonuses against them.

Athletics. I would enjoy if that came back.

Other than that...? I don't know, not more crafting... maybe breaking out combat skills into more skills again.

I wouldn't add anything that would be brand new, as much as I would prefer returning to old systems.

Though... Tracking and Beast taming at least as one skill would be pretty clutch.

Asgard: I hadn't considered detect life, although right now I'm playing thief/ assassin with hardly any magic use save for night eye. I'm more interested in a non-magical version like tracking or some kind of heightened awareness.

There are already too many skills in the game. I have a huge problem searching through the list to select those that I need. What the game really needs is to allow you to set up a number of setups that you can switch to with a single key stroke. Such as capture soul and lightning/ dual lightning/dual fire ball etc.
