what new weapons would u want to have in skyrim?

- Knuckle Dusters
- Whips
- Double bowed Crossbow (like from david gemmels Waylander novels)
- Grappling hook (could be used to pull enemies similar to the new vampiric grip power in dawnguard)
- Rapiers (a true swordsman weapon with different ..more elegant combat animations) am I the only one that thinks the sword animations are quite novice looking.
- The Dwemer pistol mod added properly to game would be great for us xbox users

(I KNOW THIS ISN'T A WEAPON)
Swordmastery Perk : allows deflection of arrows while blocking / charge attack (like shield charge) for two-handed warriors,

I would like some sort of trap, like a trip wire or something you can rig up yourself. If you've played the full game or demo of Sniper Elite v2, something like the tripwire in that.

Also throwable weapons like knives, small bombs or a molotov cocktail as said earlier would be awesome. Think a dwemer oil with a wick or something attached, or just a simple bottle would do.

They should ban pistols, machine guns, rocket launchers and sniper rifles from TES mods. I don't understand the appeal.

yeah, guns kind of make it not skyrim anymore... though i suppose if there was a way to mount the heads of dead creatures, it would be useful, but no more than a bow. less useful even, as a bow is silent.

Yes more developed unarmed combat and remove the synergy between unarmed combat and heavy armor (that one perk). I wan't to create a monk.

I'd really want to see other silver weapons(at least silver arrows and bolts) added to the game, not only Silver Hand Guys, but also regular drop and respawn lists. It'd give some challenge to the were-beasts/vampire players.
New shouts/roars and spells, random new-effect enchanced items and overall enchanting redux(>>more effects<<)
POLEARMS skill tree(included: Spear - 1h, Halberd -2h)
unarmed/unarmored skill trees merged - creating the Monkery (Moth) Skill tree(Warrior(combat), Mage(no armor, meditation spell) and Thief(water jumping? :biggrin:) hybrid.. Also rememeber that Ancestor Moths are trained in some form of Martial Arts.....it'd make sense....

Polearms and similar weapons. Some of the main weapons for thousands of years. Cheap to make, and made from readily available things like farm instruments. Also good for shorter people and women because it gives greater reach. Naginatas, for example, were used by women of the samurai class in Edo era Japan.

...and they look cool.

Edit: also effective for mounted combat. :D

I'd like to see some of the more uncommon artifacts. I felt like obliv and skyrim relied too much on the really well known daedric artifacts too much
bitter cup, mace of Aevar Stone-Singer, Chrysamere, etc.

With the direction this thread is going, I'd like a SFC modified M4 CQB with a 16" barrel/modified twist barrel complete with a flash enhancer so those dragons know I mean business. Going to the rear I would like an fully adjustable telescoping crane stock with high end recoil dampening systems. Up top Id like an EoTech Holographic sight, with an adjustable magnifier system stacked in front, for if I decide to do the nasty close in with draugr and whatnot.

But realistically, Throwing stars, and maybe Some sort of polearm. Crossbows were a big one for me for awhile. Id also like to see them expand on silver weapons.

I'd like more variety in the types that are already included and I don't want guns. Even if you pass them off as Dwemer constructs.
