I don't really like the animal races as females (Kahjit and Argonian) but I'm partial to Bretons.

Bretons do make nice women. All depends on what you're going for, of course, preference-wise. Judging by the other thread I'll assume you want an archer. Thus, I'd go for either Nord or Wood Elf as they are both considered to be pretty down-to-earth and pathfinder-esque which is pretty much the female archer stereotype, and for good reason.

Dunmer like almost all of my characters. Even my male characters are Dunmer. If I'm not playing as a Dunmer, it's probably because I haven't gotten to race selection yet.

For the fun of inputting an answer to a question.

Because your character isn't an extension of your manhood.

I've found that playing female characters can be fairly giving. Not aesthetically, but it's something else. You take on an altogether different role from what you are used to and perhaps it's that in itself which makes it entertaining. That doesn't mean that playing a female means I wish I was a woman, of course.

well i decided to give making a female a shot i went with a female argonian cause at least the fact they have claws and fangs is intimidating but i have to ask why are they so weak looking? even at max weight i feel as though poor dawn wind will be blown around like a paper bag in a hurricane if even a breeze happened. and i know for sure women can be very strong looking but still retain some feminitity. but honestly im probably going to delete dawn wind sure she is fun to play as at times but she just looks so weak i want her to be a tough but still agile looking warrior goddess of a woman. but no she is but a dainty little marsh flower even tho she is as strong looking as character creation will allow sort of unintentionally sixist of bethesda in a way.

Mine is a bosmer, but I had to spend *a lot* of time in the character creation setup so that she wasn't, for my taste, ugly. From what I gather, they're the hardest mer/men race to wrangle even attractive out of. I seriously thought about switching races, but her race was rather critical to her backstory so after a bunch of fiddling, I settled with moderately attractive (she's actually only half-bosmer/mer in the backstory so she had to have some humanesque qualities to her appearance).

I usually make Bretons. Lately, though, I've been using a custom race I found on the Nexus.

Bosmer. I've always found the role of archer more suiting for a female. In terms of my roleplaying preferences of course, I don't mean to offend anybody.

Mine is a Breton from Daggerfall. She is an assassin and the magic resistance comes in handy, but I've never used her racial ability even once in 44 levels.

I find that Redguard women look the best.

My current character is a female Redguard Thief. If it can be helped, I don't kill anyone. Recently I've been dabbling in Illusion magic and it's helping me out quite a bit.

Edit* Adrenaline rush is great for running away, I'm level 19 and I haven't put a single point into upgrading my health.
