What should be in a combo AcrobaticAthleticism Perk Tree

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 3:41 pm

This is bound to happen. What would you like to see added. Here goes a few of my Idea

1. Speed x2,

2. Jump x2,x3,x4

3. Sprint,x2

4. Dodge back flip, Dodge roll left, Dodge roll right

5. Jumping Attack

6. Increased Stamina 25%

7. Jumping off water surface

Running on water would be funny for 100 Athletics. Or unlimited sprint/no falling damage ever.

You used to be able to practically fly in Oblivion. Running at epic speeds and jumping so high, touching the floor for a millisecond with one toe before shooting off again. I think it's for this reason that the skills were removed; after all, everybody runs and jumps, why should you be rewarded for it? It's hardly like you can "grind" athletics. Just do other quests and it'll train itself.

I don't think it will happen at all.

That pretty much covers it. Aerial shouts would be good, especially Ethereal when you're falling from a high place. Also, http://www.gamestop.com/gs/images/Content/Dishonored_Sneak_Peek_2.gif

- A rolling dodge done by tapping LB. Costs some stamina.
- A brief slow motion effect for your existing dodge roll.

The perks would seem pretty straightforward: increases to jump height/distance, faster default/sprint speed, defensive dodges and rolls, increased charge attack damage, etc.

There are easy ways to fix this that don't require the removal of skills.

In a mod maybe...

Frankly the only thing I need is a dodge-roll.

Also it would be better if it is linked to another skill that requires some manner of action to raise, otherwise it will fall to the exact same problem it was removed.

Right, the problem is passive skills versus active. The solution is staring Beth right in the face. They've already introduced an active-use athletics ability, it's just that it's tied strictly to stamina rather than a skill.
