What should you think of doing/not doing so you won't mess up your game?

For me I really got into playing caravan since I enjoyed it so much. So I played at Primm a couple of times in a row and then the option to play vaished.
Did not think much about it, just thought he ran out of money or maybe he only played X times a day/week. Played at the other placed nearby and the same thing.
Since the option never came back I googled it and found out NPC merchants just play for 5 times and neverever again.

So ...
MY TIP IS : Plan your caravan gaming with the merchants to get out the most amount of cash from them since max caravan gamesets = 5.

You should always save prior to sniping someone friendly, hoping to avoid karma and rep decreases while snagging some dogtags, by being all stealthy-like. Fun until it screws up, now you've sided with the NCR but are now vilified, are hunted by the Legion, have taken out House, and are now stuck doing Yes Man because your previous save was over 6 hours ago.
It can be a little frustrating. :banghead:
