Like the topic hints at, I know for sure my computer won't be able to handle something like FNV, And I know oblivion, and ESV: Alinor will probably need a machine similar, so I was wondering,

1. What kind of PC would I need to run FNV?
2. Would I need to buy custom parts and build the thing from scratch
3. Would I be able to buy a PC already built, capable of running games like oblivion, FNV, etc... without having to get seperate parts...
4. What would you recommend being a good setup as far as parts go or a PC that's already built to play something like this kind of game, like what do you think would be a good setup to have in a machine
5. About how much would it cost to get something that would be able to run this kind of game properly on it?

Mostly because I want to get oblivion and get some mods for it, as well as the new elder scrolls, and this fallout game when modders decide to add some crazy content on.... and not be restricted to game breaking things like important NPC's dying, being able to solve quest bugs with console commands, etc...

and what sorts of accessories might I need to accomplish this? some kind of game pad? audio?

Depends, what's your budget? for $500 you can get a custom pc that'll run fallout new vegas just fine.

Mine's a amd x3 440, ati 5670 with 2gb ddr3 and it runs it fine although performance could be better since the patches seem to have reduced performance slightly. In turn, to help with fps issues, the patches reduced visual acuity in a attempt to stabilize things a bit.

Well i'd say right now $1,000 is about the max i'd be willing to, any more and i'd have to save up.

Also, do you think a PC that can play this game, will be able to play the new elderscrolls without significant upgrades to it? ES V I mean.
