What is the craziestToughest fight you've ever been in?

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 11:58 pm

On my game, as I wanted to play around and have a bit of fun, and as I'm on xbox, I used a few glitches, so now I'm level 78, which is showing me the game in a different light. As a result, my enemies are often a lot tougher. I'm doing a certain quest for a certain guild in Riften involving locating a certain former guild member with my current guild leader. At one point I walk round a corner, and am promptly attacked from all sides by 3 Draugr Deathlords......and just after I think I've won the fight, which was tough when you're being Fus Ro Dah'd from 3 different angles, their corpses fall on the ropes which have bones on them...waking up several more Deathlords...who very nearly killed me as I was taken totally by surprise.....while my Guild leader was nowhere to be seen...cowardly bugger.

Probably 2nd would be when me, a Dragon, a Giant, a Mammoth, a Sabre cat and 5 bandits all got into a massive melee...I could have backed off, hidden, gone invisible, but I made sure I killed my fair share! This was before I took advantage of the glitch!

What about you?

I don't like the Ice Mages when they cast whatever spell that it is that slows you down...annoys the hell out of me. Only one I hate more is when I'm disarmed by a Draugr.

I've done it before, but that was months ago so I only have vague memories of what happened!

Fighting a Draugr Overlord (I think it was) and a couple of Restless Draugr and twice the amount of Draugr. In the meanwhile I was getting lightning damage from the quest target whom I only could get to by killing all the draugr.

It was a really tough battle, trying to survive by dishing out enough damage. I'm a sword/board warrior and focus on defense. Eventually I kited all the trash mobs with shouts, to get 'm off my back. Killed the overlord, cut off the trash afterwards and became the victor.

Ancient Dragon just outside Winterhold at level 65.
Not even the water could same me from its flame.
My 119 damage Daedric bow hardly made any difference to its health.. I ended up having to sneak away..

Morokei (sp?). My hardest fight to date, and my most fun. Lasted well over half an hour.

Toughest fight was against a Volkihar Master Vampire with my Nord Knight. Pesky bugger used his Thralls as meat shields whilst he and a Ancient Vampire used Drain Health and Ice Spikes on me. It was made that much more harder because he kept on reviving his dead pals.

LOL the first time that happened on my game was brilliant, and there was no-one to witness it.

I literally was going 'WTF! This draugr is nails, I'm barely doing any damage at all'

About half a minute later

'waaait a minute...where's my axe gone? And my mace? Why am I punching it, what th... Owait, I got disarmed *facepalm*'

:D

a fight involving a bunch of forsworn, an ancient dragon, and Odahviing, which ended in me gaining two levels and Odahviing getting too wounded to do anything at all but sit in place until i killed the dragon. he couldn't even attack. i felt pretty bad for him.

Ha, I usually notice right away...the rage expodes out of me and I just want to pummel the Draugr to pieces, for making me search for my expensive/ heavily enchanted or smithed axe in a dark an dingy dungeon for 10 mins....

The other day I stepped out of a mountainous dungeon (depleted of useful potions by this point) and was greeted by 2...yes, TWO...dragons! And a bear. Got the dragons down (did I mention there were 2 of 'em?) and the bear damned near did me in with a couple of swipes! I really hate bears. Most times when I forget to save and end up dying...yeah...a bear got me. Really &#$*%# hate bears!

There is a rather small necromancer cave filled with mages which I found absurdly difficult on master difficulty, obviously it would be easy with high magic resistance but I must have died at least 15 times trying to clear the cave using all the cheap tactics I could think of.

Yeah, this is a tough fight. First time I went into the cave I was all full of confidence, "Feh, another vampire, be done in a couple of... ow. OW. Damn it! HOLY CRAP!"

One of the toughest fights I`ve been in recently was when I got ambushed by a powerful random vampire out in the wilderness  no matter what I did she countered it or ran away to a more tactical position,I ended up beating a hasty retreat
