It releases some crazy random encounters, instead of regular ones. Things like aliens, indina jones in the fridge, holy hand grendade. All of them are crazy, and if your a serious gamer, its not the best for you!

EDIT: BTW it's called wild wasteland

thats a good choice...i picked it too...it has many easter eggs that show up in the game...im not gonna spoil the ones ive seen...its just funny stuff that they warn "serious players" about. I dont know how you can take a video game so seriously that youd want to miss out on funny / cool extras that the developers placed in the game. all the other traits i felt i couldnt live with the negative effects that came with the benefits so i just picked wild west

Pretty sure Fallout was never meant to be a serious game to begin with especially FO3 :disco:

So that skeleton in the fridge at the begining with some name is supposed to be indian jones?

I didnt know what it was but I found it funny as seeing a fridge being used like a make shift coffin.

Now the one I sure as hell didnt get was the two skeletons side by side at the town to the south that was burned, I never got that one didnt know what or who that was supposed to be.

Last Indiana movie, he escaped an atomic explosion by hiding in an old fridge since it was made of lead it protected him from radiation and explosion. Still no idea who those 2 skeletons are though, one of them was named Owen, don't remember the others name.

It's Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru. I'm going to hop in my T-16 and go shoot some Womp Rats, maybe I'll bullseye them.

That's all I giving, off to class.

Edit - Damn, beat to the punch by the spoiler clicky thing.

You know I seen the orignal three Star War`s alot of time but that didnt click for me. Maybe its because in the movie they were smoking chared human figures in the game they were just skeletons. But I see it now Uncle Owens, and Aunt Beru. Would have made alittle more sense to me I think if there was some robobrains near by destoryed but it makes sense.

Only thing is I had one in the cave to the south it showed the hypnotised eyes at the top left but I didnt see what it was reference to I just saw a empty cave. Ill have to head back over there, stupid hard save didnt work so I need to head back there to get those 200 caps out of the pack animal.

Can anyone help, i want to take this trait but dont want to loose out on the Gauss Rifle. Ive heard if you activate this trait the Gauss rifle gets replaced with the Alien Blaster, is this correct? If so is it not possible to get the Gauss Rifle elsewhere in the game?

Thanks

I've seen brotherhood carrying them, if you're fine with pissing them off you can take one of theirs.

I think the trait just lets you know if something odd happens or is found cause when I found the skeleton bodies outside the town
the info box top left hand corner popped with a spaced out face of pip boy
plus allows you to read the names of objects/remains of odd things

Either way I think those skeletons would still be there even if you did not have the trait?

Actually i've encountered that thing twice, but that was it and never really encountered anything else. Hardest thing for me is identifying what is an actual random encounter vs content that's part of the story line.

I don't suppose anyone knows how to add this to a character via the console?

Note: This perk disables the player from achieving a certain weapon. From what I've read :(

But yeah, great trait though. Funny to see the "...." box pop up when you encounter something XD
