I do this because I want to know how the game functions before I over-invest in building a character with a specific role.

I think it's best to just have a fun run through the first time, then get technical later.

Y'know, Someone should put spoiler tags on this thread. I came here and read the first 4 or 5 topics and now I already know prettymuch the entire first 10 minutes of gameplay I'll have. thanks. -_- I hate spoilers. Why even buy the game when I can just let everyone tell me everything about it several weeks before I even get it!

After making my female character, I'll explore and do whatever needs done before fully exploring and seeing what there is to see. And maybe dying a few times until I learn, mistakes are bound to happen since it's a whole new location.

Once I finish with Goodsprings, I'll probably search the area around it for a raider hangout, kind of like the springvale school in FO3.

Obsidian revealed the goodsprings info very early in their promotion work.

Nah I keeed, I think I will have to go hunting, gather some water, and check out new iron sights!

Go scouting around abit for the weapons that i want to use, and stash all weapons i dont want to use somewhere that i can come back for later, or sell them, then go critter/power-ganger hunting for abit, just so i get a feel for the game.

I'll be going to a midnight release. So I'll probably come home, create my toon then read All Roads and sleep.

I do not know what I am going to do. Probably do what is indicated at first. In Oblivion, I went to see Jaufree because that is what was indicated and it seemed inportant. In Fallout 3, I went to look for my dad. Learning from these games, I might do what is indicated, or just become a tourist, since the past games didn't really treat the main story as critical, so I might just wander around then.

I read Powder Puff Gang or something like that so I stopped reading the thread. I am trying not to spoil the game, like I did with Fallout 3. I want this to be new and refreshing.

I will be exploring as usual. Uncovering as much of the map as I can before starting any quests, however picking up quests as I go to do later. And saving every few minutes so I can restart when I go somewhere with enemies I'm not quite ready to beat. (which I hate btw because I often never make it back there in such large games)

I plan on blowing up the Doc's toilet.

Seriously, my character has spent who knows how long coughing up his insides in that damn ugly, smelly toilet while getting patched up.
Hes finally able to walk again without parts falling out, his first priority is to get an explosive and blow it up, just so he can feel like hes gotten back at something.

Of course before he does that he'll need some money so he can buy the Doc a new one, one that didn't svck his insides away, as he figures it.
He is polite enough to know that the Doc will at least need one .. Just, not that exact one ..


After that, track down who actually tried to kill him, and blow him up. Or her, or they.
At least he figures he'll blow him up, he also figures he has a lot of time to think about how to handle it, so he may come up with a better way.

Of course this is role playing, if I run into other trouble along the way, will see what I can do about it.
Otherwise, first priority is the toilet ....
