dying at age 50 seems to be what they want, but for living a natural life, I believe it to be around 60. Arkay's curse and all that being thrown off the nords and happened to land on the most unfortunate of races. The only time they'll live past 60 is if one is a mage, but even then, 80 at best would be my guess.

For Orcs, they live about about 60 or so. A lot less considering that about 99% of them are barbaric warriors. Scholars would probably live past sixty since they don't overexert themselves. Orcs are cursed elves, their DNA isn't the same as regular elves.

What they said, in their sixties. Unless they're a mage or scholarly type, then I think about eighties. Most, however, prefer to die before growing too old...

In most RPGs, including D&D, orcs have a shorter lifespan than humans. Given a half-orc's maximum age in D&D 3.5e is 80 years and a human's is 110 years. Given the math, assuming that half-orc maximum age is directly between orc and human, I'd say that the orc's maximum age is 50 years, but it could be more. I do know that D&D is never a sure thing to compare with Elder Scrolls, but RPGs are easily transferable for speculation purposes.

As soon as they meet me on the road apparently.

They don't live as long as other elves because they are a special type of elf that has testicles, apparently that makes you live about 200 years less.

Are Orcs even elves anymore though ? I know they were at one point but aren't they grouped as a beast race now ? Along with the Argonians and Khajiit ?

I'll give you a brief run down.

They are elves, Orsimer to be exact. Mer meaning elf. They were cursed, like the Dunmer (Dark Elves), but more warlike. So, yes, they are just as Mer as the Dunmer, Altmer (High Elves), and Bosmer (Wood Elves).

Yeah I know that, I just didn't think they were considered elves anymore.

I don't think they should be, they're way too cool to be classed as elves.

They are, I don't know why anyone wouldn't consider them to be, unless they consider the Dunmer not elves.

I don't know, I'm just sure I read somewhere they were one of the beast races. Obviously that was wrong then.

No you didn't. I do too, second favourite race after Nords.

I even sometimes consider myself an Orc trapped in a Nords body, spend a lot of time within the strongholds.

Well not really. I like Elves and think they are cool, but I think Nords and Orcs (cooler than the other elves I mean) and Argonians are much cooler than them.

To be honest they are a little feminine. Hard for me to take them seriously as a warrior.
