What's the most challenging enemy to you?

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 7:19 am

Most of the enemies in Skyrim, even on Master, are simply a walk in the park. However, the enemy that gives me a helluva time would have to be Draugr Deathlords (on Master, at 50+).

The reason being is any time I get close to one, unless I have my shield raised they Fus Ro Dah me and BAM, I'm dead. Can't avoid it, there's no second chance. I'm just dead.

Kind of sad that I can kill a dragon in a few wacks, but I have to use strategy to kill a Draugr. :/

What's the enemy that gives you the hardest time?

Dragon priests, Spriggan, Snow Bear/Troll.

I try not to abuse Smithing & Enchanting my cloths/armour to give me damage increases to my weapons skills.

That's odd, my character's been fus ro dah'd all over the place but never dies from it, sometimes to the point where it's almost comical (Gaulder amulet questline, there's a draugr boss that teleports around the room along with 2 or 3 copies of himself, they were practically juggling me.)

There's a fort on the way from Winterhold to Windhelm with a couple of high level elemental mages. I'm pretty sure they're casting the expert level lightning and frost spells because that's consistently been the toughest fight for me (well, apart from the occasional bandit fort when my level's too low.)

I can even kill Elder Dragons more easily than these little creeps.

Hard? Maybe any of the 1% that is not scaled to your same level. All the rest are equal strong, or equal weak.

Draugr Deathlords with Ebony Bows and Arrows. They kill me in two hits. Draugr Deathlords with Ebony melee weaponry, even two handers, are no problem though for some reason

And there's a reason why i stay out of the Reach after level 30, my character just becomes too weak to take on the Briarhearts  Ah, the wonders of level scaling

And of course Ancient Dragons and their "I eat you if your health is any less than 100%" move. But i even the odds by using immortal mode (unable to die, but health, mana, stamina and ammo acts normally) when fighting them :hehe:

I have problems with those high level "arch" mages. Mostly because I use melee and they keep firing bolts at me while running and I svck at chasing them down.

That wierdo dog, Barbas or something....knocked me off the walkway at Winterhold. A long way down. There's a slight glitch with him, he'll constantly nudge you forward if he gets behind you.

like already said. draugr deathlords with ebony bows.

noone does more dmg. i think, if they would be fighting ancient dragons, the ancient dragons wouldn't last long. it seriously something only you can beat.

Well I`m only level 20 on Master. Bears and Tigers are still a threat although i`m actully killing tigers now as long as its one at a time.

I did come across one death Knight (?) Undead in a dungeon and he did surprise me by using voice on me- and it was more powerful too. It took ages to kill him. I had to dodge and dive behind a pillar, while Shouting back in his face and archering him and finally stabbing him in the head with my poisoned sword. He just didn`t know the meaning of "DIE! DAMMIT!"

It was because of him Lydia died.

if your sneaky heres a tip, pick pocket their briar hearts and they die instantly.

to OP, I play on Expert. The most challenging enemy for me would have to be multiple dragons, I don't know if its a bug or what but sometimes I will get jumped by an Elder dragon and an Ancient dragon at the same time and its pretty much game over unless I lower the difficulty.

I'm now a lv 47 tank and nothing gets in my way, getting boring.
My controls are so wonky in this game I can't play any character that requires finesse. I have to make every blow count especially the first one.
So... I'm a walking Ebony Tank with a draining battle ax... wack, wack... NEXT.

Giants, Ancient Dragons, an undead master who screams at me multiple times with his "clones". And probably a master who controls the undead copse that looks like shadows :swear: :shocking:
