What's the most expensive enchatment?

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 5:25 pm

Right now i use the enchatments "Damage stamina" and "turn undead" to enchant the weapons i want to sell, since it's the most expensive i have atm. But i'm curious, wich enchatment is actually more expensive than the rest?

Waterbreathing has the unusual property that has a fixed rating, which means a petty gem can yield a higher than expected value, but I don't know how it compares in the scheme of things. Absorb health is the best value weapon enchantment I've found so far

Yeah, but those work on armor and acessories... they don't fetch a nice price if i want to sell weapons, i'm more curious about the weapons one (wich even petty soul gems can make it expensive)

Paralyze or banish. next for weapons is absorb health. But paralyze or banish for sure. Just not sure which one.

I'm pretty sure it's paralyze. I used to go through the lists comparing and I did way more paralyze daggers than banish daggers later in the game.

It's this, but Banish, and then Paralyze. However, if mass enchanting for profit I find it far easier and faster to enchant armor or jewelry (don't have to pick the slider option for strength of enchantment), and then use waterbreathing for petty gems, and for higher level gems go with fortify two hand or fortify carrying capacity - can't remember which one is higher, because I don't use the investment perk anything worth more than 1,000g is all any one vendor can handle.

banish on an iron dagger gives approx 500-600+ gold when being sold to a vendor (with you having just incidental speech etc) and that's using the lowest level of soul gem.

the biggest problem you have when you start selling banish enchanted weapons is finding places with enough gold to take them off your hands and make you rich :hehe:

once you start jumping around and buying soul gems, iron, leather & leather straps etc from vendors who refresh as you do so at the same time its virtually a never ending money/skillup stream :ahhh:

Yeah, Banish and Paralyze are overwhelmingly the most expensive. At my (high) Speech level, an Iron Dagger of Banish with a petty soul gem sells for 1556, which is more than any vendor I can find even has. Paralyze is a little less, but still more than most of the vendors have.

My question is why is it such a [censored] to get this enchant? I spotted it on a bow at the damn solitude fletcher and of course I was a few hundred gold short of the price. So I get enough money for the damn thing and so far I've been waiting and waiting 48 hours for this guy to sell it again and i've been at it for like an hour and a half. Kind of pissing me off at this point.

Definitely banish. Finally got the damn thing last night (ironically literally right after posting how much of a pain it is after my hour and a half of waiting over and over). My enchanting is relatively low but a dagger with it sells for 500-600. Great way to get enchanting up, you'll make enough gold to buy mats to make plenty of daggers yourself so I've holed up in Markarth. There's two Blacksmiths and the chick in arnlief and sons to buy up your daggers, her and calcelmo sell plenty of filled soul gems, and calcelmo has his enchanting table right there. Just make and enchant your daggers, sell as much as you can, buy up soul gems and dagger materials, wait 48 hours, rinse and repeat. When I get home from work I'll have my enchanting up in no time flat. Good way to do get up blacksmithing on the side. I may use this to raise my alchemy too.
